The strong self-excited vibration of the machining center in the cutting process is called flutter.Flutter is mainly caused by the change of the dynamic cutting thickness in regeneration effect in the process of cutting.It not only can reduce the quality and the efficiency of the processing,the service life of the CNC machining center and the cutting tool,but also can produce strong noise.The analysis and prediction of the chatter and the monitoring of the chatter in the cutting process can ensure the smooth progress of the cutting process,and improve the quality and the efficiency of the processing.In this article,the research is based on the three axis CNC machining center leadway V-450,which includes studying the mechanism of cutting chatter,building the stable model of cutting chatter,setting the method of cutting chatter,and putting forward the plan for the inhibition of the cutting chatter.The specific content is as follows:1)According to the classical cutting force model,the dynamic milling model is established and analyzed,so as to solve the boundary conditions of the cutting chatter,and provide theoretical support for the drawing of the stable vane diagram.2)The hammering experiment is carried out,and modal parameters are determined,and then the lobe diagram is drawn,so as to predict the cutting chatter.On this basis,the influence of the parameters of the model on the stability model is simulated and analyzed by variable control method.3)The cutting experiment is carried out,and the vibration signal is measured.Through the analysis of vibration signal,a discrimination method of cutting chatter is put forward.This method is used to monitor the cutting chatter of the machining center,and the accuracy of the chatter prediction model is also verified.4)The suppression method of cutting chatter is simulated and experimentally studied.First,according to the simulation results of the prediction model,the structure of the machining center,cutting tool and fixture is designed and optimized to expand the flutter stability region of the system.Second,the cutting parameter adjustment method is adopted to adjust the cutting parameters according to the predicted results of the lobe diagram in the cutting process to realize the suppression of cutting chatter.
