Study On The Measurement Of Ecological Security And Its Influencing Factors In Zhangjiakou City

Ecosystem is the foundation of human survival,and ecological security is the basic guarantee of human life and economic development.The increasing population and economic development in recent years have caused the ecosystem to bear more and more demands,increased ecological pressure,threatened ecological security,and severely restricted the sustainable development of the region.Zhangjiakou City is a typical ecologically fragile area.The ecological environment is not easy to recover after being destroyed,but the fragile environmental background and backward economic development make Zhangjiakou’s economic development and environmental protection a big contradiction.How to ensure that economic and social development is always within a reasonable ecological security range is an important issue Based on this,measuring the ecological security of Zhangjiakou City and exploring its influencing factors have important practical significance.This article takes Zhangjiakou’s ecological security as the research object.First,it sorts out the relevant literature on ecological security research at home and abroad.On this basis,an ecological foot evaluation system for measuring ecological security was established,and the ecological security status of Zhangjiakou City from1998 to 2017 was measured from the perspective of ecological footprint,ecological carrying capacity,and ecological profit and loss.Secondly,the depth of the footprint and the breadth of the footprint were introduced to study the extent of Zhangjiakou’s human overdraft ecosystem,and the ecological safety index,ecological occupation index,and ecological economy coordination index were used to judge the ecological security level of Zhangjiakou.Furthermore,the regression analysis method of time series was used to study the influencing factors of ecological security in Zhangjiakou.The results are as follows: Zhangjiakou’s per capita ecological footprint increased significantly from 1998 to 2017,the per capita ecological carrying capacity changed little,and the ecological deficit became increasingly serious;The ecological footprint generated by human activities within a year takes longer to be absorbed;Theliving standards of the people in Zhangjiakou City have improved to some extent in the past 20 years,but the ecological system has developed from slightly safe to extremely unsafe,and the coordination between ecological environment and economic development has been poor,Ecological security situation is worrying;The influencing factors of ecological security are mainly population factors,economic factors,and people’s living factors.They are positively related to the ecological footprint,but there are differences in the degree of influence.Among them,economic factors have the largest impact,followed by demographic factors and people’s living factors.Based on the actual development of Zhangjiakou City,the paper proposes the following countermeasures:Maintain population stability and structure and improve population quality;Optimize the industrial structure and promote the sustainable development of ecological economy;Vigorously develop clean energy and reduce the use of fossil fuels;promote new urbanization and gradually increase the urbanization rate;improve local ecological protection systems and regulate production behavior;strengthen the promotion of relevant systems and increase people’s awareness of environmental protection.
