In the face of an increasingly complex international environment, the issue of economic development and environment has become the focus of debate among all countries.Since the concept of "low-carbon economy" has been proposed,it has long been a topic of widespread concern for all the governments, scholars and people in various countries. It has also become a measure of political diplomacy and a measure of economic development in all countries. However, the changes of environment and the trade of various countries have also been taken seriously. How to minimize the environmental problems caused by trade on the basis of the continuous development of free trade has become an important regulatory measure for all governments. As a worldwide problem,low-carbon economy inevitably has a necessary connection with the trade of all countries. However, the relationship between carbon emissions and export trade has not been clearly defined, and the relationship between carbon emissions and export trade has been explored to control carbon emissions and promote export trade It is of great significance.Based on the definition of low carbon economy and related theories, this paper introduces the current situation of low carbon economy in our country and the status quo of export trade. It finds that the growth rate of carbon emissions is obviously faster than the growth rate of export trade. Therefore, this paper initially explores the factors that affect the growth of carbon emissions in export trade. The results show that the growth of China’s extensive export trade, the expansion of the scale of processing trade, the unreasonable structure of energy and the irrational structure of foreign direct investment all lead to carbon emissions Factors influencing the rapid growth.Secondly, this paper explores the relationship between carbon emissions and China’s export trade. The results show that China’s export trade is an important reason to promote the growth of carbon emissions. From the perspective of export trade, industrial products are an important factor,In terms of export structure, the exports of the general trade structure contributed the most to the trade in total carbon emissions.Furthermore, this paper uses the input-output table to measure the total carbon emissions of exports in various industries. The estimated results show that transportation and postal storage, metal smelting and rolling processing, chemical industry, petroleum processing, coking and nuclear fuel and industrial The industry contributes more to carbon emissions. Finally, this paper puts forward the policy suggestion of low-carbon development from macro-micro level.
