Research On The Impact Of Environmental Regulation On Environmental Innovation Of Environmental Protection Enterprises

In 2010,energy conservation and environmental protection enterprises were regarded as one of the seven strategic industries for the first time,and then the state intensively revised or issued a series of environmental regulations.This paper studies how the implementation of environmental regulations affects the technological innovation of environmental protection enterprises,on the one hand,it can give full play to the environmental protection effect of the government in the application of economic incentives and policy support,so that environmental regulations can inject vitality into industrial enterprises and enhance the competitiveness of industrial enterprises through the technological innovation of environmental protection enterprises;on the other hand,it can also provide environmental protection enterprises with In order to achieve greater development in the competition and provide power support and technical guarantee for China's environmental protection development strategy,we should use the theory for reference,adjust the company's technological innovation strategy and promote the environmental protection enterprises to survive better by comparing the current situation of environmental protection enterprises.This paper selects 44 domestic environmental protection listed companies as the research object,and builds up an analysis model to analyze factors that affecting technological innovation from the environmental regulations,industrial water consumption,total energy consumption,environmental protection industry scale,and environmental protection industry concentration.Through empirical research from these two different perspectives,it can be found that the impact of environmental regulations and total energy consumption have positive correlation effect on environmental protection technology innovation,that is,the impact is significant;industrial water consumption,environmental protection industry scale and environmental protection industry concentration have no obvious impact on environmental protection technology.At the same time,a mediation effect analysis model is also established to test the industrial water consumption and total energy consumption,therefore to examine the mediation effect from the needs of the industrial companies and how the environmental regulations impact the technological innovation of environmental protection enterprises.The research results show that the technological innovation of domestic environmental protection enterprises is often subject to environmental regulations.Even though the market demand is increasing,the industry scale is expanding and the industry concentration is becoming higher and higher,there is still a lack of motivation to actively promote the technological innovation of environmental protection enterprises.But it also gives environmental protection enterprises(especially listed environmental protection enterprises)a chance to make a breakthrough in development.Enterprises can enhance their competitiveness through active technological innovation,and then provide service guarantee for the national environmental protection strategy.
