Nowadays,economic integration and globalization is the main trend in the world.Competition of market gets more intense.Customers would not prefer to standardized products any more.The large-scale production has been lose its competitive advantage as well.Customers are increasingly pursuing personalized and differentiated products as new requirement in the market.Development of economy and technology create opportunities for IVD and pharmaceutical companies.At the same time,IVD and pharmaceutical companies are facing manufacturing challenges.Such as increasing labor and raw material cost.To meet requirement of market,quality is high priority for IVD and pharmaceutical enterprise.Combine company actual situation and Lean production principle to gradually optimize production process and achieve target of increasing production efficiency and reduce production cost.It focus on find non-valued and waste in production process,it is aim to reduce cost and increase efficiency for production to enhance the competitiveness of enterprise.It takes the production process management of QIAGEN as the research target in this thesis.After investigate relevant research and papers of domestic and foreign IVD and pharmaceutical enterprises,lean production research and other theories,through value stream mapping and questionnaire survey,literature research to conduct the research.Firstly,this paper collect the problems of production process management by questionnaire and interview within QIAGEN.Secondly,analyze and identify the cause of this several major problems by current value stream mapping,such as weakness in flexible production abilities of staff,untimely supply of materials and lower efficiency of production planning.Thirdly,developing improvement objective based on lean production principles and design a lean value stream mapping that can be achieved in the short term.Finally,taking lean value stream mapping as the guidance,this paper puts forward the optimization plan for QIAGEN production process management from five aspects: personnel,equipment,material,methods,environment,etc.In order to ensure the smooth implantation of lean production in QIAGEN'S production process management,this paper also provides a series of measures from organization and management system and expense.This paper not only can provide consultation and reference for managers,but also can be used for developing a continuous improvement culture for staff in their routine work.
