As an important basic mechanical component,ball bearing plays an important role in mechanical equipment.The performance of ball bearings closely related to the accuracy,performance,life and reliability of all kinds of mainframes in the fields of equipment manufacturing,aerospace,military industry and so on.In grinding,how to improve the processing quality and reduce the processing cost has always been a problem.Similarly,ELID forming grinding of raceway of ball bearing also has such problems.Therefore,combined with the characteristics of grinding and the particularity of ELID grinding,this paper further explores the influence of grinding parameters on surface roughness,workpiece profile and radial wear of grinding wheel,and explores the optimal grinding parameters of ELID forming grinding under multiple evaluation indicators.Firstly,in order to calculate the contour of workpiece,this paper establishes a contour evaluation model based on genetic algorithm,and achieves the contour error calculation between different workpiece contours and reference contours.Through 12 groups of random experiments,the errors between the calculated results and the measured results of the workpiece contour relative to the reference contour are calculated.The results show that the evaluation model of workpiece contour is feasible and has high calculation accuracy.Secondly,in order to obtain the change of wheel wear after each processing,this paper designs a device for measuring wheel radial wear for ELID grinding,and establishes a measuring system for wheel radial wear.The measurement system establishes a linear relationship between the compression of the sensor and the output voltage.The theory proves that the proportional coefficient of the measuring system is 3.4 mV/?m,and the change of wheel diameter can be accurately obtained after each processing.Finally,the orthogonal experiment of five factors and four levels was designed,and the effects of grinding wheel speed,workpiece speed,feed speed,internal resistance,large pulse duty ratio on surface roughness,workpiece profile and radial wear of grinding wheel are studied.By establishing a comprehensive evaluation model to evaluate the three indexes,the optimization of process parameters was completed.The experimental results show that the comprehensive evaluation value of the optimal grinding parameters is 0.21,which is obviously smaller than that of the orthogonal test.
