| In the aerospace sector,fluoroelastomer and fluoroether rubber seals are widely used in hydraulic,fuel and environmental control systems.Due to the complex and varied application environment,rubber seals are inevitably affected by factors such as high temperature,high pressure,medium corrosion and friction and wear during use.It is easy to cause rubber surface hardening,cracking,swelling,rebound resilience,etc.The aging phenomenon,physical and chemical properties and tribological properties are reduced to varying degrees,which seriously affects the sealing performance and service life of the seal.Based on the actual operating conditions of the aviation hydraulic sealing system,this paper conducts experimental research on the physicochemical properties and tribological properties of fluororubber and fluoroether rubber(FM-2D,FX-2,FX-10,FX-17)after hot oil aging.In-depth analysis of the friction and wear mechanism of fluororubber and fluoroether rubber under dry friction and lubrication conditions provides theoretical guidance and data support for the subsequent selection of sealing materials in the aviation field.The main research contents of this paper are as follows:(1)According to relevant national standards,the four kinds of fluororubber and fluoroether rubber are treated by accelerated hot oil aging method,and the physical and chemical properties of fluororubber and fluoroether rubber are tested before and after the test,including rubber material hardness,quality,compression set,tensile strength,chemical molecular structure and thermal stability,etc.,analysis of the influence of hot oil aging time and temperature on the mechanical properties and chemical thermal stability of fluororubber and fluoroether rubber,and the tribological properties of fluororubber and fluoroether rubber mechanism research provides a theoretical basis;(2)The reciprocating friction and wear test of fluororubber and fluoroether rubber and stainless steel against dry friction under dry friction conditions were carried out by UMT-3 multi-functional friction and wear tester.The fluororubber and fluoroether rubber specimens under different degrees of aging were studied.The variation of wear surface morphology,friction coefficient,wear amount,wear debris,surface roughness and interface temperature reveals the friction damage mechanism of four fluororubber and fluoroether rubber materials under dry friction conditions.(3)Experimental study on the reciprocating friction and wear behavior of four fluororubbers and fluoroether rubbers and stainless steel pairs under different lubrication conditions by changing the actual oil-free and oil-rich working conditions of the oil supply simulation sealing system.The friction and wear characteristics of fluororubber and fluoroether rubber under friction conditions were compared comprehensively,and the influence of hot oil aging on the tribological properties of fluororubber and fluoroether rubber under different lubrication conditions was revealed.This study has important engineering guiding significance for enhancing the sealing performance of aviation hydraulic systems,improving the service life and reliability of fluoroelastomers and fluoroether rubber seals,and reducing the incidence of aviation equipment accidents. |
