Research On The Impact Of Innovation On Economic Growth Of Coal Resource-based Cities

The report of the Nineteenth National Congress put forward that innovation is the first driving force leading development and the strategic support for building a modern economic system.The coal resource city is an important energy base in our country,which has an important influence on the economic development of our country,but for a long time,the coal resource city has relied on the coal resources to develop the economy,the industrial structure is single,the environmental pollution is serious,and the innovation ability is low,which leads to the gradual decline of the economic development.In order to complete the economic transformation as soon as possible and promote the growth of coal resource-based urban economy,it is necessary to take innovation as the new growth motive force and change the growth mode.The impact of source-based urban economic growth is of great significance.In theory,combining with the economic development of coal resource-based cities,the impact on economic growth is studied from the two aspects of technological innovation and institutional innovation,and quantified,the combination of theory and demonstration is beneficial to enrich the theoretical analysis of innovation on the economic growth of coal resource-based cities.Through the analysis of this paper,we find out the deficiency of coal resource-based city in innovation,which is beneficial to promote its economic transformation and high-quality development.Using schumpeter's theory of innovation,marx's theory of innovation,neoclassical theory of growth,endogenous theory of growth and related theory of new system economics,this paper studies the influence mechanism of technological innovation and system innovation on the economic growth of coal resource-based cities by means of logical deduction analysis.Secondly,taking Shanxi Province as an example,10 coal resource cities in Shanxi Province were selected for analysis.combining with the theory of economic growth to establish the empirical model of this paper,select the coal resource-based city innovation and economic growth related indicators,using econometric analysis method to analyze the impact of innovation on the economicgrowth of coal resource-based cities.The main research conclusion of this paper:(1)the influence of technological innovation on the economic growth of coal resource-based cities has a significant positive effect,and through technological innovation,it is beneficial to promote the upgrading of the industrial structure of coal resource-based cities and change the mode of economic growth.(2)In recent years,although the institutional environment of coal resource-based cities has been constantly improving,there are still many shortcomings,which restricts the economic growth of coal resource-based cities.On the one hand,the government of coal resource-based cities has too much economic intervention,which affects the rational allocation of resources and leads to the phenomenon of rent-seeking corruption;on the other hand,the degree of marketization is low,the resource-based state-owned enterprises have monopoly rights over resources,and non-state-owned enterprises have monopoly rights over resources Economic development is slow,there are financing constraints,which affects the healthy development of coal resource-based urban economy.(3)In order to promote the economic growth of coal resource-based cities,we should continue to strengthen innovation efforts and improve technological innovation capabilities.At the same time,we should improve the level of institutional innovation by clarifying property rights,increasing the degree of diversification of property rights,coordinating government-market relations and reducing government intervention.The innovation of this paper lies in: first,from the two aspects of technological innovation and institutional innovation,the mechanism of innovation on the economic growth of coal resource-based cities is analyzed.From the point of view of the literature,many scholars have analyzed the economic growth of coal resource-based cities from the aspects of current situation,problems and path.Although some scholars have studied the mechanism of technological innovation on the transformation of industrial structure in resource-based areas,the transformation of industrial structure is only one aspect of promoting economic growth.On the other hand,the mechanism of system innovation on the economic growth of coal resource-based cities has not been analyzed by scholars,most scholars take the national economic growth as the background whenstudying the relationship between system innovation and economic growth,and coal resource-based cities have their particularity of development because of their typical resource-based characteristics,so it is necessary to study the mechanism of system innovation on the economic growth of coal resource-based cities.Secondly,quantitative analysis is carried out when analyzing the impact of system innovation on the economic growth of coal resource-based cities.It can be seen from the literature that most scholars are studying the innovation of coal resource-based urban economic growth There is no empirical analysis,especially the lack of empirical test on the impact of institutional innovation on the economic growth of coal resource-based cities.Firstly,this paper makes an empirical analysis of the system innovation as a whole.Secondly,in order to explore the inherent deficiency of the coal resource-based urban system environment,the internal factors of the system innovation are split to make the analysis more comprehensive.Third,using entropy weight method to synthesize the index of system innovation is more objective than subjective assignment.The shortcomings of this paper are: innovation includes product innovation,technological innovation,market innovation and institutional innovation,because of the data acquisition,model setting and other factors,this paper only chooses two aspects of technological innovation and institutional innovation to study.
