Chirality is the fundamental property of nature. In the fields of medicine and chemistry, the development of analytical methods for the separation of racemates is of great importance. In this paper, chiral mesoporous silica was synthesized with different surfactants, and the separation performance of porous chiral organic molecular cage CC3-R was improved. The main works are listed as follows:(1)A chiral mesoporous silica was used as the stationary phase for the separation of racemates in gas chromatography, which was prepared by sodium dodecyl sulfate as template and(S)-(+)-Leucinol as chiral source. The column exhibited excellent chiral recognition ability toward to fifteen racemates including ester, epoxy alkanes, aldehydes, ketones, ethers, alcohols and amino acid derivatives. The n-alkanes,n-alkanols,aromatic hydrocarbons and Grob's reagents could also be separated. The advantages of the chiral capillary column are with a short separation time and high temperature resistance.(2)Another chiral mesoporous silica was synthesized by only using CTAB as template, and then was prepared into chiral column for the separation of racemates.Racemates(including esters, aldehydes, acids, ketones, alcohols and amino acid derivatives),n-alkanes,n-alkanols and aromatic hydrocarbons could be separated on the column,respectively.(3)To improve the stationary phase performance of porous organic molecular cage CC3-R in gas chromatography, the preparation condition of column was optimized into 4 mg/mL CC3-R + 4.5 mg/mL OV-1701 dichloromethane solution. After CC3-R was reduced and formolazed, one new chiral column was fabricated. We also mixed CC3-R with CC9 into stationary phase of gas chromatography. The evaluations of all chiral columns were carried out.
