In this work, three capillary columns(A, B, and C) containing the chiral MOFs [Cd(LTP)2]n or Co-(D-Cam)1/2(bdc)1/2(tmdpy), permethylated β-cyclodextrin and sodium chloride, and the MOFs and permethylated β-cyclodextrin have been prepared and their respective enantioseparation abilities have been investigated. In addition, we prepared three capillary columns(A, B, and C) containing the chiral MOF [Cd2(D-cam)2(4,4’-bipy)(H2O)4]n, sodium chloride and the chiral ionic liquid L-AlaC4NTf2, and the MOF and L-AlaC4NTf2 to Investigate their respective enantioseparation abilities.The MOF, [Cd(LTP)2]n, possessing infinite extension three-dimensional supramolecular reticular structure with right-handed helix was synthesized to investigate whether the use of chiral MOF can enhance enantioseparations on permethylated β-cyclodextrin stationary phase. The experimental results indicated that the use of [Cd(LTP)2]n could improve the optical resolutions.We coated the chiral MOF Co(D-Cam)1/2(bdc)1/2(tmdpy) and permethylated β-cyclodextrin on the inner of capillary column. The MOF has a 3-D framework containing enantiopure building blocks embedded in intrinsically chiral topological nets. We combined the chiral MOF with permethylated β-cyclodextrin to get a new chiral stationary phase. The test results indicated that the use of Co(D-Cam)1/2(bdc)1/2(tmdpy) could improve the optical resolutions.We coated the chiral MOF [Cd2(D-cam)2(4,4’-bipy)(H2O)4]n and the chiral ionic liquid L-AlaC4NTf2 on the inner of capillary column. The [Cd2(D-cam)2(4,4’-bipy)(H2O)4]n has homochiral [Cd2(D-cam)2]n chains linked by the 4,4’-bipy ligands into honeycomb-like 63 layer. The test result of enhancing enantioselectivety was obtained on the stationary of combining [Cd2(D-cam)2(4,4’-bipy)(H2O)4]n with L-AlaC4NTf2.
