The ladle refining furnace is a common production equipment for a steel group company and is widely used.However,due to its heating characteristics,it generates a large amount of reactive power and harmonics,resulting in a serious decline in power quality.This project studies a reactive power compensation device that adapts to the working conditions of the ladle refining furnace of the steelmaking plant.The specific research contents are as follows:Firstly,it analyzes the causes of reactive power and harmonics in the steelmaking refining furnace and the harm caused by reactive power in the steelmaking plant.Then it studies the current situation of electric energy treatment and reactive power compensation at home and abroad;Generator SVG;then a redundant chain static var generator is proposed.On the basis of the traditional static var generator,the power unit is redundantly controlled.When one of the power units fails,the faulty unit is performed.Bypass,and divide the other power units by the negative sequence current balance DC side voltage method to make the static var generator continue to work;secondly,through the analysis of the working condition of a steelmaking plant refining furnace,determine the parameters of the reactive power compensation equipment The reactive power compensation SVG model is built.Finally,the grid,refining furnace and static var generator SVG are simulated.The reactive power changes before and after the chain static var generator are compared,and the reactive power compensation before and after the fault of the power unit.The situation and current and voltage conditions indicate that the redundant chain static var generator of this subject can realize the redundancy function and further improve the equipment.Qualitative.
