| With the development of science and technology,the competition between firms is becoming increasingly fierce,which makes it vital for firms to have the ability of technological innovation.For firms in every technological field,the directions of technological innovation could be including,creating new products,technologies or services in the target research field and introducing new technologies,products or services from other research filed into the target field.Comparing with the former way,the latter one is much easier to be accomplished.However,with the higher degree of specialization in every research field,plenty of knowledge has been generated in this process.For researchers,it already spends them most time mastering the knowledge in their own research field.It is impossible for them to grasp the knowledge from the other research field.So we need to use scientific method and technology to explore the deep relationships between knowledge from different research fields,and then to provide more innovative solutions for the target research field.Under this condition,we propose the research on selection of innovative solutions based on SAO(Subject-Action-Object)structure.Using the analytical process of LRDI(Literature-Related Discovery and Innovation)methodology,we first analyze these main subjects in target research field and obtain the related solutions.Second,we construct the technology roadmap of these main subjects and analyze the specific questions that these solutions can directly solve.Third,without considering the restriction of the research field,we combine these specific questions as the key words to search for deeply related solutions to these specific questions.Finally,we would evaluate these deeply related solutions from the aspects of the technical feasibility and expected results.We select the relatively better solutions as the innovative solutions for target research filed.An exploratory study is conducted on air purification technology for this systematic process.Several innovative solutions have been selected for the photocatalytic technology.The research shows that some of the selected innovative solutions have been effectively used in air purification field,which can also verify the proposed research method is feasible and valid.Comparing with the current research on seeking for innovative solutions or mining technological opportunities in technology field,the advantages of the proposed systematic process are: by analyzing the main subjects of target research field,we find the related solutions.With the further analyzing of the specific questions that these related solutions can solve,we then use these specific questions to get the deeply related solutions without considering the restrictions of research field.Meanwhile,we choose air purification technology as the case study,which could be thought as the application extension of the theory LRDI.The result of this research could be seen as the useful ways for firms or institutions to find more innovative solutions and help the researchers to obtain more innovative solutions as references in a very short time,which improve the efficiency of research and also promote the interaction and development between knowledge. |
