At present,infant formula milk powder is the main nutrient source for infants and young children,which contains arachiddonic acid(ARA),docosahexaenoic acid(DHA),lactoferrin,bifidobacterium,and other ingredients,and plays an important role in infant growth and development.In recent years,many infant formula milk powder manufacturers have paid attention to the problem of poor mixing uniformity and stability of the main ingredients in the dry mixing process of infant formula milk powder,and carried out in-depth research on how to improve its mixing uniformity and continuous mixing stability.However,in the production process of infant formula milk powder,there are many problems such as the uneven and unstable mixing of ARA,DHA,lactoferrin and Bifidobacterium in the dry mixing process,which has been plaguing many infant formula milk powder manufacturers.In this study,the effects of different influencing factors on the mixing uniformity of pneumatic pulse and mechanical stirring mixer were discussed respectively,and the horizontal range of influencing factors was determined.Then,the optimal mixing process of the two dry mixing equipments was optimized by the response surface optimization test design;under the optimal mixing conditions,the effects of two kinds of dry mixing equipment on the mixing uniformity and continuous mixing stability of infant formula are analyzed.The mixing machine and mixing technology which are more suitable for the production of infant formula milk powder industry were selected,and the relevant problems in the dry mixing process of infant formula milk powder industry could be used for reference in the future.Two mixing process of dry mixing equipment were optimized through the single factor test design and response surface optimization.For the pneumatic pulse mixer,the effects of mixing time,mixing pressure and mixing amount on mixing uniformity were analyzed;For the mechanical stirring mixer,the effects of mixing time,mixing revolution frequency and mixing amount on mixing uniformity were mainly analyzed.The optimal mixing process of the pneumatic pulse mixer was optimized by the response surface method.the mixing time is 9 min,the mixing pressure is 0.3 MPa,the mixing amount is 400 kg.The optimal mixing process of the mechanical stirring mixer is mixing time 12 min,the mixing frequency is 50 Hz and the mixing amount is 500 kg.According to the optimized optimal mixing process,the effects of two dry mixing equipments on the mixing uniformity of ARA,DHA,lactoferrin and bifidobacteria were analyzed.The results showed that the RSD values of ARA were 3.96% and 2.43% after mixing by the pneumatic pulse and mechanical stirring mixer,respectively.The results showed that the RSD values of DHA were 4.86% and 4.06% after mixing by the pneumatic pulse and mechanical stirring mixer,respectively.The results showed that the RSD values of lactoferrin were 4.24% and 3.03% after mixing by the pneumatic pulse and mechanical stirring mixer,respectively.The results showed that the RSD values of bifidobacteria were 8.19% and 7.86% after mixing by the pneumatic pulse and mechanical stirring mixer,respectively.The mixing uniformity of the two dry mixing equipments for the four components is in line with the enterprise standard(RSD<10%),but the mechanical stirring mixer is superior to the pneumatic pulse mixer.According to the optimized optimal mixing process,the effects of two dry mixing equipments on the continuous mixing stability of ARA,DHA,lactoferrin and Bifidobacterium were analyzed.The results showed that the Range values of ARA on the uniformity of continuous mixing three batches were 1.50% and 0.84% after mixing by the two dry mixing equipment,respectively.The results showed that the Range values of DHA on the uniformity of continuous mixing three batches were 1.87% and 1.12% after mixing by the two dry mixing equipment,respectively.The results showed that the Range values of lactoferrin on the uniformity of continuous mixing three batches were 1.16% and 0.73% after mixing by the two dry mixing equipment,respectively.The results showed that the Range values of bifidobacteria on the uniformity of continuous mixing three batches were 1.01% and 0.80% after mixing by the two dry mixing equipment,respectively.The results of three batches of continuous mixing of four ingredients by two dry mixing equipments are stable,but the continuous mixing stability of the mechanical stirring mixer is better than that of the pneumatic pulse mixer.
