Globular indexing CAM mechanism has high transmission speed,dividing accuracy and good dynamic performance,large carrying capacity,the advantages of good reliability,is widely applied in the need to implement the intermittent movement of packaging machines,automatic machine tools,textile machinery,printing machinery,construction machinery and other equipment.The contour surface of arc indexing CAM belongs to the space unexpandable surface.In this paper,the design and manufacture of the arc indexing CAM mechanism are studied with the arc indexing CAM mechanism in the packaging unit as the research object.This paper mainly focuses on the digital design and manufacture of the arc indexing CAM of the packaging speed 800r/min ultra-high speed cigarette packaging unit.Theory of globular indexing CAM design and dynamics research,modeling,simulation and machining,the machining of the globular indexing CAM for error detection,realize the integration of globular indexing CAM design and manufacturing.The main research work of this paper includes:First of all,according to the characteristics of the globular indexing CAM mechanism,analyzes its design parameters,using the theory of conjugate surface and coordinate transformation method,conjugate CAM contact equation is derived and the working contour surface equation,parameter design,using MATLAB and Creo joint simulation,the parameterized modeling.The kinematics analysis shows that the CAM mechanism has good dynamic performance.Secondly,in order to improve the globular indexing CAM machining precision and machining efficiency,equivalent of globular indexing CAM machining and the equivalent analysis,based on the theory of unilateral processing CAM machining position control equation is derived for the knife,globular indexing CAM error mathematics model is established,and the calculation and analysis of processing error,verify the method is feasible.Finally,the machining simulation of arc indexing CAM is carried out by using UG CAM nc machining module.Generate the NC code that is actually processed through the customized post-processor.In order to verify the accuracy of the digital machining of the arc indexing CAM and the customized post-processor,the code generated was processed on the spot by the demi DMU50 five-axis machining machine.
