In recent years,fashionable sportswear has witnessed growing popularity among consumers.Domestic sport brands such as Li-Ning have also launched their own sports-fashion product lines.Through a field visit to the design & production base of “China Li-Ning”,a sports-fashion series under the brand of Li-Ning,it has been found that problems in the stage of design and development mainly include the lack of time input in the formulation of design proposals and time-consuming process of sample making and technology modification,leading to low R&D efficiency.Targeting the above-mentioned problems,this thesis expects to build a design information database for “China Li-Ning” by using the garment virtual simulation technologies and database technologies and storages the virtual simulation models generated from virtual design and the corresponding design element information into the database.In this way,this will enable the designers to master the styles of the new series more quickly so that the design can be more targeted.Invocation of virtual simulation models in the database can help enhance the utilization ratio of design resources and improve the efficiency of design and development procedure.This thesis is mainly composed of three parts:(1)Altogether 260 product samples were collected through the official channel of “China Li-Ning”.A statistical analysis was conducted on the adoption of sample design elements.A summary was made on the design characteristics of “China Li-Ning” from the five design elements of contour,color,texture,component,and pattern.Based on the statistical analysis results,the author conducted hierarchical classification of the design elements of “China Li-Ning”,providing directions and logic basis for subsequent virtual simulation exploration and database design.(2)VStitcher virtual simulation platform was adopted to conduct a virtual simulationproposal exploration of the contour,color,texture,component,and pattern elements of “China Li-Ning” products.Among them,the thesis prioritizes the exploration of the virtual simulation path and relevant parameter adjustment scope of different pattern techniques(plain embroidery technique,rubber print technique and water print technique).The pattern technique simulation paths and parameters were verified.Based on this,the thesis finished the virtual simulation design for 47 products.Later,the thesis provided data resource support for the construction of databases.(3)The thesis has designed the functional modules,data modeling,and database list structure.Among them,functional modules include user management module,data browsing module,data retrieval module,data export module,data collection module and data editing module.Based on Windows 10 operation platform,Node.js,IDEA development tool,Tomcat server,and MySQL database,the thesis has finished the program construction for the front-end interface and back-end system of the database system and realized the overall operation of each functional module of the system.The thesis conducts an exploratory research on the digitalized project of product design elements of “China Li-Ning”,which is consistent with the development trend of design digitalization.The establishment of resource databases can not only help designers directly and accurately communicate with producers.More importantly,it can help improve the product design and development efficiency,thus bringing larger profit to the company.
