As a new class of multi-functional crystals,chiral metal-organic frameworks have shown great potential in analytical chemistry due to their large surface area,adjustable pore/channel sizes,diverse structure,easy to synthesize and modifiable pore surface.However,the low mechanical stability,the irregular shape and wide size distribution of the synthesized MOFs particles limit their applications in some fields.The MOFs composites synthesized by post-modification strategy expand the application of MOFs in various fields due to the diversity of their structures,types and properties.In this paper,the prepared chiral core-shell composites were used as chromatographic stationary phases to explore their applications in the HPLC separation field.The specific works are as follows:The first part briefly introduces the significance of chiral compounds,chiral resolution,high-performance liquid chromatography and chiral stationary phases.The development and classification of core-shell structure materials,and their applications in the field of chromatographic separation were described.The second part prepared chiral D-his-ZIF-8@SiO2 core-shell microspheres by growing of D-his-ZIF-8 on the carboxylic-functionalized SiO2 microspheres via in-situ growth strategy.The prepared D-his-ZIF-8@SiO2 core-shell microspheres were used as the stationary phase for HPLC resolution of chiral compounds.The effects of injection masses and temperature on the chiral resolution and the reproducibility of chromatographic column were investigated.The research indicated that D-his-ZIF-8@SiO2 chiral column has high enantioselectivity and good chiral resolution toward eighteen chiral compounds with good reproducibility.The third part synthesized[Cu3?Btc?2]@[Cu2??+?-Cam?2Dabco]core-shell composite by chiral post-modification method.The fabricated[Cu3?Btc?2]@[Cu2??+?-Cam?2Dabco]chiral column was used for HPLC separation of chiral compounds.The results showed that[Cu3?Btc?2]@[Cu2??+?-Cam?2Dabco]chiral column showed good chiral resolution for thirteen chiral compounds.The fourth part synthesized MIL-101@c-PANI core-shell composite,which was used as a stationary phase to prepare a HPLC column for the separation of different types of chiral compounds.Ten chiral compounds were separated on the MIL-101@c-PANI chiral column with n-hexane/isopropanol as mobile phase.
