Steel is widely used in various industries in our daily life.As the world's largest developing country,my country's future demand for steel is rigid.Although my country's iron ore resources are abundant,in the process of mining iron ore,due to the lack of comprehensive utilization technology,the technology level is relatively backward,which has caused great damage to the ecological environment.Among the many beneficiation processes,the traditional beneficiation process is wet magnetic separation,but the disadvantage of wet magnetic separation is that it is too dependent on water resources and consumes a lot of energy.The dry magnetic separation has a high utilization rate of iron ore and does not require a lot of water resources,so the damage to the ecological environment is relatively small,which is very suitable for inland areas such as Inner Mongolia.This article mainly studies the influence of the shape of the deflector on the separation grade of the dry magnetic separator from three stages: theoretical analysis,simulation and experimental verification,which provides a certain reference value for the optimal design of the magnetic separator.The main research work is as follows:Firstly,in order to determine the shape of the optimal deflector,the finite element simulation software COMSOL Multiphysics was used to select the magnetic and non Simulation and analysis of the magnetic trajectory of the magnetic particles.First,the magnetic field and flow field were coupled in COMSOL Multiphysics to analyze the influence of the shape of the deflector on the flow field inside the sorting cavity.,Draw the following conclusions: when the magnetic field strength is 220 mT and the strong wind with a wind speed of 25 m / s is passed,a large number of weak magnetic particles are formed in the wave-shaped deflector and bow-shaped deflectors due to the formation of turbulence A collision with the wall surface of the sorting chamber greatly increases the chance of contact between the weak magnetic particles and the magnetic roller.In the C-shaped baffle,the weak magnetic particlesdo not come into contact with the magnetic roller again,so the wave-shaped deflector and the bow shape The separation effect of the deflector is better than that of the C-shaped deflector.Secondly,in order to verify the previous simulation results,the experiment was conducted with a new three-stage dry magnetic separator designed by the research group.Multiple experiments were carried out with raw mineral materials with grain sizes of 1mm,2mm,3mm and 4mm respectively,and multiple experiments were conducted on raw mineral materials with the same grain size,and the experimental data were collated and compared to obtain the most representative experimental results.Draw a line chart and draw the following conclusions: in the range of 90 r /min-140 r / min of the magnetic roller speed,the magnetic field strength is 220 mT,when 25 m / s of strong wind is passed,as the magnetic roller speed increases,the final concentrate The grade of medium magnetic iron will also increase;on the premise that other parameters remain unchanged,the grade of magnetic iron in the final concentrate of the magnetic separator with wavy guide plates is the highest;the final concentrate of the magnetic separator with C-shaped guide plates The grade of medium magnetic iron is second;the magnetic separator without deflector has the lowest magnetic iron grade in the final concentrate.The ideal shape of the deflector of the dry magnetic separator is wavy,which verifies the previous simulation results.This research can provide a certain reference value for the selection of the deflector of the dry magnetic separator and the improvement of the sorting quality of the dry magnetic separator.It is hoped that the conclusions drawn by this paper's simulation research and experimental analysis can be gradually applied to Inner Mongolia.Even the mining areas that meet the working conditions nationwide provide a new direction for increasing the output of iron concentrate.
