With the continuous development of manufacturing industry,the forging technology level of domestic CNC press machine is gradually mature.However,the homogenization of the shape is more serious,resulting in a lower overall level.So the appearance image has become one of the leading factors affecting the market competitiveness of CNC press machine.It is the development direction of the enterprise to highlight the internal value of products through modeling design.Product family design,as an effective means of personalized design,can quickly improve the external image of the product,help companies shape the family image,establish brand recognition,and enhance market competitiveness.In this paper,the concept of product family modeling gene is introduced in the design of appearance modeling,and the design system of product family is constructed by combining the research method of perceptual engineering.The system is applied to the practice of product family modeling design of numerical control press.First of all,the appearance modeling of different brands of CNC presses machine at home and abroad is studied,and the modeling characteristics of product family are analyzed.Through eye tracking experiment,it can identify the key feature parts of CNC press machine and understand the user's visual tendency combined with AHP,it analyzes the recognition of each feature part of the product family,taking this as the reference point to extract the shape factor and color factor of the product,and then constructs the product family feature gene library of CNC press machine.Secondly,we collect the style image words which conform to the shape of CNC press machine extensively,build the style image vocabulary Library of CNC press machine by cluster analysis.Then we make the style image evaluation questionnaire of CNC press machine by semantic difference method,measure the weight value of style image of each characteristic part and the style image evaluation of characteristic factor by experiment,so as to establish the style image of the mapping relationship between image and morphological characteristic factors.Finally,according to the actual case commissioned by the enterprise and the customer's style intention requirements,the product family modeling design scheme of CNC press machine is completed,and the product family extension and style image evaluation are carried out for the design scheme.The results show that the CNC press machine product family characteristic design system studied in this paper is feasible.
