Iron and steel metallurgy industry is an important part of many industries in China.The importance played in the process of social development is naturally self-evident,and demands for the output and quality of iron and steel products is also increasing day by day.The successful application of ladle furnace secondary refining method in iron and steel enterprises greatly promotes people’s technical research on new steel grades and new processes,promoting the booming development of the metallurgical industry with broad development prospects.It is particularly critical to properly control the temperature of molten steel during the LF furnace refining process,if the temperature of the molten steel in the furnace does not meet the requirements of specific steel type,it will obstruct the quality of continuous casting billets.Conversely,if the temperature is higher than usual,it will slow down the pace of the whole steel-making process and cause a lot of energy waste.Therefore,it is very important to control the molten steel furnace temperature in the furnace in a timely and accurate manner during the heating process.At present,domestic and foreign steel companies,even ultra-large steel companies,generally use LF furnace molten steel temperature monitoring methods are relatively backward.Each steel enterprise adopts the operation mode that the operator in front of the furnace stands at the door of the furnace and inserts the disposable thermocouple into the molten steel manually to measure the temperature,and lacks of effective means of real-time video monitoring,so the operator cannot master the argon blowing and feeding in the furnace in time and slagging and other working conditions must be observed directly at the door of the furnace when necessary.This operation mode not only has low working efficiency and high labor intensity,but it also can not effectively control the accuracy of judging the working condition based on personal experience with some potential safety risks.The molten steel splashed in the furnace often brings scald hazards to the operators.Therefore,it is urgent to realize automatic continuous non-contact radiation temperature detection of molten steel temperature in the LF furnace.In this study,the near-infrared double-sided array CCD detector is used to obtain the real-time hot image of molten steel in the furnace directly,which is communicated with the PLC server in the electric furnace factory to obtain the relevant parameters of the refining process of molten steel,realize the automatic trigger of the temperature measurement software.Then,it accurately identified the molten steel based on the KM clustering algorithm,analyzing and processing the image information,and calculating the real-time temperature according to the temperature measurement model data.In order to verify whether the temperature measurement is accurate in the system,the thermocouple temperature measurement link was retained in the early stage,and the temperature was calculated by the temperature measurement system which was corrected based on the thermocouple temperature measurement value as a reference to achieve continuous debugging of the development system and improve the stability of the data.At the same time,the temperature measurement system also supports the high-definition industrial television image display function,which is convenient for operators to grasp the working conditions in the furnace in time.This study changed the traditional contact artificial thermocouple temperature measurement technology in the LF furnace,which can achieve realtime temperature measurement without affecting the steelmaking progress.The operation is very convenient,spanking and safe.It is a technology worthy of promotion,which can also guide the temperature measurement technology in other fields.
