In recent years,with the increase of imported ore,the quality of sinter is uneven,the reason is that the grade and characteristics of imported ore powder are quite different.In order to stabilize the grade and characteristics of sinter,the composition of sinter is guaranteed to be stable through reasonable collocation of different ores,so as to improve the metallurgical properties of sinter and reduce the cost of sintering raw materials.Based on the basic characteristics of sinter,this project aims to improve the quality and reduce the cost.In the experiment,iron ore powder PB and iron ore powder Newman were used as the main raw materials,and the results were verified by thermodynamic calculation software.Finally,The mixing ratio with reasonable price and metallurgical properties is obtained and used as new ore powder raw material,so as to reduce the cost of sintering raw material and reduce the overall ore distribution plan.In this paper,the high temperature foundation characteristics of PB and Newman ore powder and their three mixed iron ore powder were studied.such as crystal connection characteristics,minimum assimilation,liquid phase fluidity,bond phase strength and calcium ferrite generation characteristics.Specific results: five basic sintering characteristics of PB and Newman were studied.The research shows that there is a big difference between PB and Newman.Compared with PB,Newman has the following characteristics: low assimilation temperature,good liquid fluidity,high bond strength,strong calcium ferrite generation capacity,high cost,and poor intergranular strength.On the basis of the sintering basic characteristics,in order to reduce the sintering cost,improve PB sintering basic characteristics,the ore mineral powder has mixed as Newman and PB mixture of4:6and6:4,exploring the optimal proportion of mixed ore powder,using as a new mineral powder.in order to reduce the sintering raw material costs,and reduce ore matching and optimization scheme.It was found in the experimental study that the assimilation performance,liquid phase flow performance,bonding phase strength,calcium ferrite generation capacity and crystal bonding strength of the mixed ore were improved in theexperimental study compared with that of the mixed ore after the mixing of ore powder PB and ore powder Newman.Finally,the optimal mixing ratio was obtained as follows: PB and Newman were mixed at 4:6 with the best performance,the lowest assimilative temperature was 1195?,the liquid phase liquidity index was 4.52,the bond phase strength was 1.29KN/unit,the calcium ferrite ratio was 17.50% higher,the crystal strength was1.33KN/unit,the price was 532.32 yuan/ton,and it could be used as new ore powder for optimal ore distribution.Based on the experimental study of basic characteristics of sintering of PB and Newman ore powder and mixed ore powder,this paper provides a theoretical basis for guiding the optimization of sintering production and improving the quality of sinter.
