Chongqing Rail Transit Transfer Facilities Technical And Passenger Transport Research

The operation mode and construction of trasfer stations are presented for Chongqing railway network.The major problems are pointed out for transfer stations in operation.The maximum capability of trasfer stations are concluded by studying the capability of station facilities,including escalators and lifts,passages,ticket gates,platform screen doors and automatic platform gates.It helps to give an advice about maximum capability of transfer stations for construction.Based on passenger types and passenger flow,the stations are catagorized tending to establish categorization and classification standards.The standards work to calculate the reduction coefficient of facilities and give advices for construction scale.A layout design method is proposed for stations’ facilities and equipment based on layout principles of facilities and equipment,including auto-escalators,lifts and passages.Based on studies on transfer stations’ facilities,the evaluation index is proposed for facilities of Chongqing Railway station,as well as allocation criterion.And with that,a design standard is presented for establishment of new lines and construction of transfer stations of different classification,which contributes to an efficient operation of railway network and customer-friendly services.As the number of passengers grows,feasible and pragmatic ways are proposed for existing and under-construction transfer stations to lead passengers and organize large passenger flow.Liang Lu Kou station is fully described regarding station control,line control and network control.The results say that the capability and organization of trains need to be improved and the organization of passengers needs to be flexible and able to respond to variation of passenger flow.It is suggested that new lines are expected to join the whole network to realize cross-line operation and passengers’ interchanges at one station.
