Railway passenger transport is the main means of inland passenger transport.With the continuous improvement of people’s living standards,the quality of travel traffic expectations are getting higher and higher.In recent years,China’s high-speed rail mileage rapid extension,high-speed railway stations have been built bigger and better facilities,to a certain extent,to solve the problem of domestic passengers difficult to buy tickets,difficult to ride.However,there are still quite a number of large-scale railway stations in China,which not only undertake the arrival and departure of bullet trains(high-speed trains),but also continue the arrival and delivery of ordinary-speed trains,such as the Shanghai,Nanjing Railway Station and Hefei stations,this paper calls this kind of passenger station a comprehensive passenger station.These comprehensive passenger stations are located in urban areas,convenient passenger transport connections,with unique advantages.However,since it was built earlier and is located in the urban area,it is very difficult to expand.Only some corresponding improvements have been made and the facilities are also relatively old.However,due to the rapid development of the national economy,its passenger flow is not reduced but increased,so they are in a "saturated" "overload" state.How to tap the potential on the existing basis,make full use of the existing facilities,equipment,scientific and Rational Organization of large passenger flow,better service has become an urgent matter.In this paper,the existing research results at home and abroad are used for reference.Through the analysis of the existing facilities of comprehensive passenger station,the Organization of large passenger flow,the organization capacity of in-station trains,and the study of the application of arrival and departure lines,the queuing theory model is adopted,based on the analysis of the scientific flow line,the layout of the Waiting Hall and the correlation of the train parking platform,the corresponding conclusions are drawn.First of all,through observation and investigation,the author thinks that the scientific and reasonable construction and disposition of existing railway passenger stations have the potential to be further improved.How to make use of the existing resources to guide the passenger flow in time,organize the boarding and landing safely,to the railway passenger’s movement behavior,to master the passenger travel information and the transport plan in the period when the train traffic and passenger flow are large;How to improve the utilization efficiency of the track and the turnover efficiency of the car bottom are studied and the effective measures are put forward.Secondly,to overcome the imbalance of large passenger flow,improve the capacity of transport organization,passenger flow line optimization and optimization,the arrival-departure line unit arrangement optimization proposed improvement path.In this paper,the queuing theory is used to establish a model to solve the optimal choice of the number of security checkpoints,that is,the number of security checkpoints is actually the number of passenger arrival queues,the number of security checkpoints can be transformed into the problem of multi-queue and multi-node queue optimization from the off-station area to the waiting hall.Thirdly,through the analysis of the equipment and organization capacity of Hefei Station,the optimization scheme is made and the key points for improvement are provided.Finally,it is concluded that,in addition to the newly-built high-speed railway stations,the layout of a large number of comprehensive stations(referring to both starting and normal speed trains)and the organization scheme of large passenger flow can not meet the requirements of modern transportation for speed and comfort,and it is urgent for rational optimization,moreover,there is indeed room for optimization;on the premise of not increasing investment and not renewing construction facilities,existing railway passenger stations can improve the capacity of large passenger flow through organizational optimization and innovation;queuing theory is optimizing large passenger flow organization,in particular,there are instructive conclusions in the area of facility arrangements.It also provides the prospect and expectation for the further research in the later period.
