| As we all know,the Balanced Scorecard(BSC)is one of the most important and effective strategic performance management toolto quantify the business strategy execution and enhance enterprise value of creativity,it is the strong driving force to ensure that the organization convert "strategy" into "action" too.The BSC management tool has been applied in different industries since it was introduced to China from western countries at the end of nineties.Many enterprises learned the advanced foreign management experience,and gradually established their own strategic performance management system which is adaptto their business,meet the needs of business development.However,through a number of success stories,which have common point of "remarkable main business,sample value chain,high concentrated resources,good infrastructure management,strong core competitiveness",we can see that,despite the BSC performance evaluation system haveincomparable advantages than others,it still have some challenges in the actual application,such ascomplexity ofindex design,difficulty of non-financial indicatorsquantification,the excessive number of indicators(specific indicators up to more than 20),lack of rigid standard for the weight coefficientof index system design.And it is even hardertothe implementation of the BSC in the enterprise groupswith diversifiedindustrial and product structure,wide management range,longer chain management.In order to explore effective ways to apply the BSC in Enterprise Groupwith diversified product,find out how to establish a scientific,comprehensive,and effectiveperformance evaluation systemin enterprise groupsof diverse product structure,complex value chain,Strive to achieve some breakthroughs and innovations in enterprise strategy performance management,in this paper,Company A –with wide coverageofmain business,varietyproduct,low industrial relevancedegree,three main industry value chain-will be an example of establishing a comprehensive performance evaluation based on strategic performance management system,to help maintain a competitive advantages,continuing to create shareholder value.Analysisand research methods of finding out question,analyzing and solving problem will be used,based on the strategic performance management theory and literature,together with management tool of BSC.The application of BSC in Strategic Performance Management of Company A were studied based on the manager’s perspective.Results of this research fill the short board in the Balanced Scorecard applicationsof theoretical research;in practice,it is not only a certain significance guidanceto the implementation of the Strategic Performance Management to Company A,but also providing a useful referencefor similar companies to establish Strategic Performance Management Systembased on the Balanced Scorecard. |
