Hydraulic excavator as the main construction machinery in earth and rock engineering,it is widely used in energy?mining?transportation?irrigation and water conservancy?urban construction,it also can be used in modern military engineering field.Excavator has many features,such as multi-item,multi-function and high efficiency,It plays an important role to reduce heavy manual work?guarantee the engineering quality?speed up the construction and so on.The devices of hydraulic excavator in excavating soil and stones that is called working device,as the key part of the hydraulic excavator,whether the working device is designed reasonable that directly influences overall performance of the excavator is superior or not,the performance and reliability of the working device directly influence comprehensive performance of excavator,which is an important sign of advanced machine[1],Therefore,it is very necessary to study the working device of hydraulic excavator.In this paper,it states the composition and the working device of the hydraulic excavator in detail,and analyzes typical mining working condition when the hydraulic excavator is in the static characteristic.Using SolidWorks software to establish a three-dimensional model of a type hydraulic excavator,the finite element analysis of the 3D model of the hydraulic excavator working device is carried out by using the finite element analysis plug-in Simulation of SolidWorks,in order to obtain the stress condition of the movable arm and bucket rod in the working device,the result is that it is less than the Allowable stress,meet the requirements of the use of material,and can be used for realizing the optimal design.In dynamic characteristics,the driving force of the hydraulic cylinder is the research object in the scope of work from top dead center to bottom dead center of the working device.Firsts build Movement example of the working device of the hydraulic excavator using SolidWorksMotion,According to need,the Movement example can be enumerated to physical quantities such as forces velocity?acceleration and energy in all the parts of the working device;Next?using SolidWorksMotion to establish design examples of the working device of the hydraulic excavator,ln the Movement example,the optimization goal is minimum oil cylinder driving force when driving each component work,optimize each component,and then the size of the optimized is used to parameter drives the original 3D model to remodel;Followed?the interference detection of the optimized working device is carried out by using SolidWorks's interference check function to ensure that the optimized working device does not interfere in the work and can achieve the expected design effect.Finally,the finite element analysis plug-in Simulation of the SolidWorks software is used to analyze the optimized three-dimensional model of the hydraulic excavator working device.The correctness and feasibility of the optimization design of the working device are verified by the finite element analysis.
