The Research On Design Strategy Of Post-disaster Temporary Architecture

The investigation of post-disaster transitional architecture not only plays an important role in the worldwide,but also bears a practical significance to modern China.Several fatal natural disasters happened in recent years,such as Wenchuan,Yushu and Taiwan earthquakes,have brought those researches to the front.Through the settlement of victims after disasters in China,many problems on the design and construction of those architectures have been exposed.So the author tried to find and explore designs and construction methods of post-disaster transitional architectures,which goes with the regional characteristics and practical conditions,with an investigation and discussion on different design factors and actual construction methods:for example,the choice of construction site,structure of those architectures and construction materials,the planning for the spatial scale,layout and accessories.At the same time,considering several principles in designing post-disaster transitional architectures such as the anti-disaster competence,reaction to emergency,universality,sustainability and humaneness,from the point of view of sociology,psychology and art design,the author endeavoured to make the design from various perspectives,which contributes to the mental health of disaster victims,and to investigate how can a post-disaster transitional architecture play the assisting role of post-disaster mental health reconstruction to show profound concerns,whilst fulfilling the practical functions of those architectures.
