The Research Of Regional Architecture Tectonics Based On Materials

Under the impact of the globalization,regional and national economy has achieved rapid development.With the rapid pace of economic development,however,globalization also brings a series of ecological problems and the convergence of architectural culture.The resource,environmental and ecological crisis caused by the over-exploitation of natural resources and damage to the environment has severely endangered the survival and development of human beings.And the spread of western universal culture value make the "international style" box standing,and similar images of architectural creations of cities make them lose the identification of unique sense of belonging and regional culture.In contemporary society,the commercial and spectacular architecture has turned into just the collage of images.At this moment,the concern of regional characteristics,traditional culture and the return of architecture itself is particularly important.Materials is a basic problem of architecture,and the construction of materials is the core strategy in the theory of “Resistant Architecture”.It has the vital significance to the introspection of the contemporary architecture and innovation.The purpose of this paper is establish relationships among materials,tectonics and the regional architectures,and to analyze the the contemporary methods to construct materials and summarize corresponding construction strategies,thus providing a new angle of view and following research reference on the way to critical regionalism.The paper,first of all,studies the relationship between tectonics and critical regionalism,the expressions of materials in tectonics and focuses thinking on important theoretical concepts such as the modernity of construction,the nature and reality of materials and its structure and surface characteristics.And then,the article further discusses the basic classification of materials and the characteristics of some typical regional materials,and we must realize the importance of innovative construction of traditional materials as a vital strategy to the contemporary regional architecture practice.Paper then starts the key research to the object,starting from thinking about the problems of several aspects to regional tectonics andstudies the patterns of material construction and the expressions to regionalism of each factor in tectonics combining some cases,then it respectively makes analyses on contemporary tectonics from the aspect of traditional materials and new materials with detailed cases.At last according to the above theoretical analysis and the induction and deduction to the cases,we can extract the strategies of contemporary tectonics of regional architecture based on materials.The end,the article mads a prospect for the future development of critical regionalism architecture.
