Complex and changeable,the world's political and economic situation has undergone a major adjustment in the current international situation.Domestic inflation and the pressure of RMB appreciation continues to rise.The central real estate control policies continue to bear.The construction industry faces significant development challenges in the background.Unprecedented construction market and construction corporate profits continuing to fall contains the significant risks which are market regulation in place,the imperfect market mechanism,and the unhealthy market development.This study based on the basic theory of management.By using the general theory of strategic management to case development strategy of Shanghai W Construction Corporation to do the research.On the basis of the external macro environment of the enterprise,the construction industry environment and internal environment analysis,the integrity of the W construction corporation in a long time to come,long-term,basic judgment and planning.General idea of the implementation of the strategy of vertical integration,horizontal integration strategy,the regional development strategy and core competitiveness strategy,a clear strategic positioning and strategic objectives,the implementation of the priorities for the strategic development goals,and expand from the enterprise market,the construction production,management,technical support,development of human resources,corporate culture and other aspects,the proposed safeguards implementation of the strategy.The full text is divided into five chapters.Chapter I is the introduction and brief article about the research background,significance,research ideas and methods to introduce the main content of the research.Chapter II Summary of the theory of enterprise development strategies.Chapter III is the environmental analysis which analyzes the external environment of the development of the W construction corporation from the macro environment and the market environment.The main feature is divided to six areas and this part forms the basic judgment of the external environment for enterprise development.And,in this part,analyzes the internal development environment from the company profile,organizational structure,business layout,corporate resources and capabilities analysis.Furthermore,it uses the SWOT analytical methods to asses the advantages and disadvantages of the company's development as well as the opportunities and threats of the external environment.Chapter IV evaluates and selects the specific programs of strategic combination by formulating the basic norms of the strategy.It also proposes the development of the company's strategic objectives,makes a clear mission and vision of the company's overall development goals and specific targets.Chapter V raises the main points and the safeguards of the strategic implementation which focus on the strategic objectives.It can be seen through this study:problems faced by the Shanghai W construction corporation in the current is just a microcosm,it's prevalent in other large-scale construction enterprises,especially state-owned construction enterprises.We hope that the strategic thinking and methods proposed in this paper can also have certain reference value and significance for the development of similar large-scale general contractor construction enterprises.
