Research On Conservation And Development Planning Of Traditional Villages In Ancient Chizhou Under The Critical Regionalism

The prosperity of "universal civilization" has brought about the gradual decline of regional culture,and the local culture has shown the phenomenon of convergence.In this context,Critical Regionalism emerged in the construction industry,advocating dual criticism and inheritance of globalization and regional.Modernizing China is in a period of rapid urbanization.As the carrier of Chinese traditional social system and traditional culture,traditional villages continue to suffer development and constructive destruction,and are vanishing at a rate of one hundred per day.On the other hand,by the impact of the universal civilization,the traditional villages have been caught in the situation that many villages’ look similar,and lost the traditional culture and regional characteristics.Critical Regionalism emphasizes a dialectical attitude to regard globalization and regional culture.It is of great significance to protect traditional villages which on the background of the protection and inheritance of the new era.First of all,this paper explores the critical connotation of traditional village protection and development planning in a dialectical view of the relationship between protection and development.Refining the protective elements of this area--characteristics of traditional village site selection and morphology,traditional architecture and historical environment factors.Facing the developmental factors-residential,transportation,infrastructure,public service facilities and open space to make the problems to be solved more clearer.The paper summarizes the methods and models of conservation development,in view of the traditional village protection and development concept in ancient Chizhou,the existing situation and problems of traditional villages,the status and problems of traditional village protection and development planning.Then,studying of critical regionalism practice in the protection of traditional village development planning,putting forward from the perspective of critical regionalism,the location pattern of traditional village is a natural result of human adaptation,the development of the village should not go against nature,but not to change the surrounding natural mountain water.Traditional architecture is the carrier of local history and culture,should be protected,to protect not only the single building,but also the surrounding environment to maintain the scene of villages.Therefore,new buildings should be refined architectural elements in the region and the spiritual essence to inherit local architectural features.Historical environment carry villagers’ production and living memory.The functional elements should be maintained the using function.The iconic elements should be protect to arouse the memory of village.Intangible cultural heritage is a reflection of the production and life of the villagers and local culture,emphasizing the overall protection,not only consider the relevance of intangible cultural Heritage within the system,should also pay attention to production and the dependence the relationship between intangible cultural heritage.The protecting can try to combine industry development,forming the region’s characteristic industries.
