The service life of the power cable,is mainly determined by the degree of aging of the cable insulation material.In the process of insulation aging,the temperature of the insulating material is an important factor to determine the aging speed of the cable.The current carrying capacity is a basic parameter of the power cable.The load current is too high to be overloaded.The cable temperature is too high and the aging is accelerated.Cable temperature is too high may indicate the cable overload or fault state,therefore,real-time control of the cable running temperature will also be conducive to its safe and reliable operation.In this paper,the structure of the XLPE power cable is described in detail,and the location and principle of the heat generation of the cable are clarified from the structure of the cable,which provides the theoretical basis for the numerical calculation of the cable temperature field.The heat transfer finite element method is based on heat conduction,heat convection and heat radiation,and the heat balance control equation.On this basis,the temperature field distribution is obtained by combining the finite element solution condition.In this paper,the geometrical model of 10 kV in different laying modes is established by COMSOL Multiphysics finite element analysis software,and its temperature field is simulated and calculated.Through the finite element simulation,it can locate the overheating position of the cable group under different laying modes,and provide theoretical support for the temperature distribution of the on-line monitoring sensor.At the same time,the upper limit of the skin temperature of the safe operation of the cable is calculated and the core can not be directly monitored The temperature of the temperature threshold is determined by the problem.A set of cable trench temperature on-line monitoring system is established,which can collect the temperature data of cable trenches in real time.First of all,the temperature sensor calibration and testing,the use of ZigBee wireless transmission of field data,through the master chip CC2530F256 programming control,remote access data temperature data function,in the cable trench to the remote mobile phone communication.The monitoring system can continuously obtain the on-site return temperature,indicating that the system is in good working condition and can effectively monitor the running status of power cable.
