In the power transmission lines, the operation condition of power cable is more concerned about the problem of operating personnel. Especially the high-voltage cable accessories is one of the weakest links in the safe operation of power-supply network. Cable accessories including branch connector, terminal connector, the middle connector. Research shows, cable joints which from overheating to fire accident is a relatively slow process, temperature on-line monitoring for cable joint can effectively prevent the occurrence of cable fire accident.In this paper, temperature on-line monitoring system for cable joint based on ZigBee and GPRS two-level wireless network is developed. By using CC2530wireless RF module which internal integration of the C8051F series microcontroller and the "single bus" temperature sensor DS18B20as the core, the implementation of each cable joint temperature acquisition and transmission, and the temperature information of each joint of the package through a GPRS module, and then not subject to geographical constraints, the GPRS network to complete the transmission distance data, realized the real-time online temperature monitoring of all cable joint in the monitoring region.Secondly, in view of power supply monitoring device difficult problem, compared the power supply mode of several commonly used power monitoring system, selected the "principle of proximity" current transformer, on this basis, through the double-end open air gap on the coil structure is improved, can effectively postpone iron core into saturation prematurely. For GSM/GPRS module instantly transmit power big problems, the super capacitor and lithium batteries based on matched induction power supply device, can effectively solve the problem of inadequate instantaneous power for monitoring equipmentFinally, write the PC management system. Using Visual Studio2010as a development tool, using C#as the development language. Background database of the System chose SQL Server2008, using ADO.net database access technology for data access.The whole Monitoring system integrates data collection and transmission, real-time data display for cable connector temperature information, data storage and management, data report and print, over-temperature alarm and other functions in one, through the test can meet the requirements of power monitoring system.
