With the development of power electronics technology,the continuous improvement of switching frequency of power electronic devices has led to the high frequency of magnetic devices.High-frequency magnetic devices is one of the main components in switching power supply and occupies an absolute dominant position in the magnetic market,which makes the improvement and optimization of high frequency magnetic components critical.The loss of magnetic components,including core losses and winding losses,typically account for 20% to 30% of the total loss,which is a very important indicator for the designer.Production of the core of the business will provide the standard ring core in the different frequency of sinusoidal excitation unit volume core loss data.However,in the actual production design process,due to the design of the product shape and size changes make the data without guidance.In this paper,the characteristics,structure and operating environment of the reactor are summarized,and the calculation method of the parameters and losses of the reactor is also summarized.Secondly,the formula of the DC and AC resistance of the reactor winding is given in detail,and the calculation method and calculation formula of the equivalent AC resistance of the reactor core are given.On this basis,the calculation scheme and the expression of the reactor are proposed.Finally,the loss of the model reactor is simulated by Maxwell software,and the values of the eddy current loss and the winding loss at the given frequency are obtained.Finally we design and manufacture the reactor,measure the total loss.Magnetic core loss measurement method can be divided into two kinds,one of the methods is directly method,another is indirectly.Direct electrical measurement method in the case of high-frequency and low power factor angle will be a great error,and the cost of this measurement method is expensive,so it cannot meet the engineering needs.Another method of measurement called thermal measurement method,this method is theoretically the most accurate.However the traditional calorimetric test device is complex and has a long test time.In this paper,the calorimetric method is further studied,and a new measurement method is put forward.The comparison between the measured data and the simulation results shows that the proposed method of the reactor loss simulation has high accuracy.
