Chinese ancient buildings because of its unique structure and layout size have become the world's unique style of a building discipline,and become the precious cultural heritage of the Chinese nation.With the progress and development of the society,the defect of ancient buildings in fire prevention and corrosion resistance are becoming more and more significant.With the new technology and new material in the use of the construction industry,a traditional style of antique buildings had begun to rise in the construction field in China,it could be either to inherit and carry forward Chinese traditional culture,and could meet the demand of the function of modern at the same time.There was no proprietary architectural design code in the structure design of traditiongal style buildings,and current codes weren't completely applicable.so it is necessary to study the seismic performance of antique architectural framework.In order to study the seismic behavior of the imitated ancient building reinforced concrete frame,one specimen in 1:2 scale of the model were designed and manufactured in the areas with a seismic design intensity of 7 degree.In the pseudo static test of the antique style of reinforced concrete frame with single span was conducted and was halted when specimen's carrying capacity decreased to 85% of the ultimate load bearing capacity.The failure process and pattern were observed.The mechanical behaviors such as load-displacement hysteretic loops,skeleton curves,load carrying capacity,ductility,energy dissipation capacity and stiffness degradation of steel reinforced concrete columns were analyzed.The test results show that the antique style reinforced concrete frame is a typical "strong column and weak beam" structure,but as the core force area to form short columns,leading The shear failure of the short colum occurs when the load capacity of the whole structure is reduced to 85% of the ultimate load.The hysteretic curve of the whole structure shows an inverses shape,and the displacement ductility coefficient is 3.24,which indicates that the overall ductility is good,and the equivalent viscous damping coefficient is up to 0.112.The inter story drift angle is 1/27,which indicates that the structure has good seismic performance and collapse resistance.The static elasto-plastic analysis on the test model use of finite element analysis software SAP2000 was carried out based on experimental results.The goodness of fit between calculated results and experimental resauls is well.The effectiveness of model is verified.Furthermore,the parameter analysis on test model was carried out.The influence law of test model is obtained under different yield stength of steel tube,concrete strength,yield stength of column longitudinal reinforcement,linear stiffness ratio of upper columns and lower columns,axial compression ratio.Based on the experimental study and finite element analysis,the research results in this paper provide reference significance to further study on the seismic behavior of antique buildings and certain in engineering practice.
