Chinese ancient buildings because of its unique structure and layout size,become the world's unique style of a building discipline,and become the precious cultural heritage of the C hinese nation.With the progress and development of the society,the defect of ancient buildings in fire prevention and corrosion resistance is becoming more and more significant.With the new technology and new material in the use of the construction industry,a traditional style building began to rise in the construction field in China,it can be either to inherit and carry forward Chinese traditional culture,and can meet the demand of the function of modern at the same time.But as a result of traditional style building design does not have a mature design specification,so it is necessary to study the seismic performance of traditional style building framework.In order to study the seismic behavior of the traditional style steel-concrete composite frame,one specimen in 1:2 scale of the model were designed and manufactured in the areas with a seismic design intensity of 7 degree.In the pseudo dynamic test,the frame was subjected to different peak acceleration values of E l Centro waves,Taft wave,Lanzhou wave and Wenchuan wave.The loading process and failure patterns were observed.Structure under seismic action of displacement time history curve and restoring force characteristic curve and deformation were studied.The experimental results showed that beam mostly at the elastic stage,while Dougong and penetrating tie destroy is more severity,the penetrating tie of traditional style building act as the first seismic line under the action of horizontal seismic action.Restoring force characteristic curve appear a certain degree of "pinch approach" phenomenon,finally develop into "anti-s shaped".the traditional style steel-concrete composite frame has enough strength and stiffness under the action of seven degree frequent earthquakes and design earthquake,and frame was in the elastic state;The ultimate elasto-plastic story drift rotation is between1/104 to 1/77 in rare earthquake has not been destroyed meet the requirement specified by Chinese code.Which show the good lateral deformation capacity.The analysis indicated that the traditional style steel-concrete composite frame has good seismic performance.The elastic-plastic time history analysis on the test model use of finite element analysis software SAP2000 was carried out based on experimental results,obtained under different earthquake wave frame displacement time history curves,restoring force time history curves,the finite element analysis are consistent with the experiment results.O n this basis,the deformation of this kind of structure is studied,and the analysis of the structure under rare earthquake action sequence of plastic hinge order and distribution,and have a deeper understanding of the structure dynamic performance.Based on the experimental study and finite element analysis,the research results in this paper provide reference significance to further study on the seismic behavior of traditional style building and certain in engineering practice.
