With the development of science and technology,people have come to realize that the developing smart grid can solve the problems that many traditional grid have.The intelligent substation is the key to building smart grid.Basing on the current situation of intelligent equipment applications and combining the construction of 500kV Li Li intelligent substation,a designed research of 500kV Li Li intelligent substation is reported in this paper.This paper takes the relevant national standards as the criterion,takes the intelligent development as the theoretical backbone,takes the information,automation as target.The paper analyzes the prospect of the development of the intelligent substation in details,and carries on the intelligent substation network structure from the application technology perspective,electrical protection,automation and other aspects of researching and analysis.Accessing to the status of intelligent equipment application,the paper put forward the development trend of intelligent equipment and typical 500kV substation intelligent scheme.First of all,the paper has a very good analysis of advantages and disadvantages of digital substation and traditional substation.Then the paper set forth the definition,function,technical features and architecture of intelligent substation.Basing on the excellent characteristics of intelligent substation,the paper puts forward the designing plan in 500kV Li Li intelligent substation.Firstly,the paper designs the network structure and processing layer network construction scheme of the intelligent substation.According to the comparison of several schemes,we choose the best one for the present stage.Then the design of relay protection for 500kV Li Li intelligent substation is put forward.With the scheme of 500kV protection in the main transformer,bus,circuit,circuit breaker and 220kV protection bus,line,bus and fault recorder,fault information substation are designed respectively.At the same time,the paper discusses the SMV networking,GOOSE networking and protecting function of the intelligent substation,ensuring the reliable operation of the intelligent equipment.Meanwhile,the design of automation configuration scheme set forth the several functions for Li Li substation.Paper finally discusses the application of the 500kV Li Li intelligent substation configuration.Analyzing the advanced application functions of intelligent substation,the paper put forward a design of function of sequential control,function of condition monitoring,fault information analysis and function of intelligent alarming.Through the interaction between the advanced application,unique properties of intelligent substation is realized.At present,500kV Li Li intelligent substation has put into normal operation,whether is a routine maintenance process or operation,it improving the excellent efficiency.In this paper,the research work could serve as a model for the future design of the other 500kV intelligent substation.
