A Study Of Procurement Risk Management Of Local Part On F Company Under Supply Chain Environment

During the period of the Twelfth Five-year Plan,the automotive industry has become a pillar of economy in China with the high development speed.As the development of automotive industry,the components enterprises in China are blooming greatly.Meanwhile,more and more car markers regard Chinese automotive market as a big car and come to China to share vehicle sales market.As the Thirteenth Five-year Plan's coming,there are several new regulations on automotive industry published by Chinese government.Energy Saving and Environment Protection have become the new themes of automotive industry.Surrounding by high competitive market and new industry policy,more and more car makers are improving their requirements on components enterprises.With these requirements,the component suppliers should not only provide competitive prices and deliver qualified parts on time,but also has an enough technical capacity to join new car's development in advance.But during parts purchasing,due to the limitations of capital,development capacity and environment of car makers themselves,they always cannot achieve their targets.It brings a lot of difficulties and challenges to car markers.As a high-end car maker of Van,F Company is facing the same situations.Under this condition,it is more helpful to study the risks from local part purchasing.This essay firstly proposed the background and meanings of study and research contents and methods.And it introduced the studies on supply chain risk management and procurement risk management from the experts inside and outside of China in recent years.Secondly,the article gave an introduction on supply chain characters in China and supply chain status of local part procurement at F Company.It analyzed the procurement process of local part purchasing department and distinguished the main purchasing risks.Based on this,the procurement risk assessment system had been set up accordingly.Finally,according to risk analysis result,it gave some countermeasures to control or avoid risks.Through the recognition and assessment of procurement risks,this essay found the main procurement risks and distinguished the seriousness of the risks.Then it pointed out the working direction on how to make improvement on procurement risk management in future.And we hope this study can provide a good reference to improve their procurement risk managements as well asfor the other car makers in China.
