A Study On Building And Implementing Procurement Supply Chain Platform Of G Group

Recently,with the trend of economic globalization and complexation of global trade environment,economy,technology,politics,and society has embraced a changeable regeneration.As for construction industry,the current situation forces construction enterprise to transform and upgrade.Given the resource purchasing cost taking up around 60% of total cost,and construction company should pay in advance for resource purchasing but waiting a long time for capital return,construction companies should change tradition purchasing method to centralized procurement and introduce supply chain and financial tools.In this case,it could lower the total cost of supply chain and build up an overall procurement and supply chain platform for the construction company.It’s urgent and important for construction groups and enterprises to work out a solution to strengthen the planning,purchasing and management of materials,and to operate in a planned way.Building a new purchasing supply chain platform,however,is an innovative solution to the dilemma.The research objective is to provide a reference case for the future procurement supply chain development of leading private construction enterprises by building up and implementing procurement supply chain platform in G Group.Constructing and implementing a procurement supply chain platform with “centralized procurement,Internet purchasing,supply chain finance” elements will improve the procurement and supply chain management of G Group to a new level and lay a solid foundation for group development.Therefore,the thesis concludes that construction industry should strengthen its management,push forward centralized procurement,bring in supply chain finance as its capital guarantee,and construct an Internet purchasing platform.The innovation of the thesis is the combination of centralized procurement,Internet and supply chain finance,which are in accordance with the national call of developing Internet and reforming supply side.The successful implementation of the platform will totally break the mold of old way and bring strong core competence to an enterprise.
