With the continuous influx of population in recent years, modern cities have been facing the rising land prices in central area, the requirements for the utilization of high rise buildings have been increasing, and the desire of people to building functions has been improving from habitable to livable or high-quality living. These have promoted the emergence of new structures and technologies in construction.Characterized with the novel design, high technology, non referable projects, and various influences, those buildings with new structures and technologies have posed significant challenges to the conventional construction technology and management methods in the construction industry of China. On the basis of multidimensional engineering information, the Building Information Modeling(BIM)constructs a highly integrated information model.Through information simulation, the actual engineering activities in the life cycle of the building will be simulated, and it will offer technical support for the development of construction informatization.Taking the customs service complex in Suifenhe as a engineering examples, the BIM was applied for the solutions of several key problems in the implementation and engineering application of the new structural system of Trapezoid Structural Transfer Layer(TSTL)in this thesis.A new technique of drainage system for solving the difficult problem of roof seepage in cold regions was developed(National Invention Patent,ZL 2015 1 0327254.9),and it was simulated and analyzed with BIM to determine keypoints of quality control during the design and construction. The main contents are listed below.1.Common softwares employed in BIM were compared, and the systematic nomenclature and deduction standard for components that constitute the model were suggested.By defining required special family types, the structural informationmodel based on BIM for a practical project was elaborately built.2.Based on BIM,several technical problems in the application of TSTL were studied.Employing the BIM which was used to simulate the security and the Navisworks Simulate,a multi-dimensional information simulation technology, difficulties of the set up and remove of the temporary support system in transformational system were solved.Complicated nodes and detail structures at the end of pre-stressed steel strand in the system were further designed with the Navisworks Clash Detective Technology, technical difficulties such as intersecting node steel bars and the pouring of concrete were settled.Based on the technology of data sharing between Revit and PKPM and BIM information datamation, field tests were combined with the BIM to monitor the transformational system on site, and the problem of the theoretical internal force calculated lagged behind the field measured was solved.3.The inherence mechanism of roof leakage in cold regions was analysed, and a new technique of drainage system for the roof leakage control in cold regions was developed. The three major factors inducing the roof leakage in cold regions were studied in detail, and relevant construction measures were proposed. After being simulated by BIM software, key points of quality control during the design and construction for this new technology were determined.4.Quantities of the transfer layer and roof in a practical project were calculated with BIM.And the technology of the TSTL system and the roof anti-leakage system in cold regions were analyzed combining the theory of value engineering, which revealed the superiority of new system and technology.
