With the increasingly prominent contradictions in the global environment and resources,energy conservation and emission reduction have gradually become the theme of contemporary resource utilization.For the construction industry with large energy consumption,energy conservation and emission reduction has always been the pursuit of the industry.On the road of building energy conservation and emission reduction,countries have not stopped exploring.Since the beginning of the passive ultra-low energy technology at the end of the last century,passive technology has become a jewel in building energy conservation and emission reduction measures.Countries such as Germany,the United States,and South Korea have successively launched the development and application of passive ultra-low-energy technologies that are compatible with their climate,humanities,etc.,and have obtained rich theoretical and practical results,which have provided assistance for the country to promote the building energy-saving process.Compared with countries such as Europe and the United States,China's passive technology development started late,but with the increasing emphasis on building energy conservation and emission reduction by the state and society,the research and promotion of China's passive energy-saving technologies have also been launched,but relatively perfect with countries such as Europe and the United States.Compared with the technology,the improvement of China's passive energy-saving technology system is still on the way.Especially under the premise of China's vast geographical environment and complex climatic characteristics,how to improve the quality of the building environment,save energy consumption and reduce pollutant emissions on the one hand and inherit and carry forward the traditional regional architectural civilization on the other hand is a question that needs to be considered in the development of China's current passive technology system.Compared with other climatic zones,public buildings in severe cold regions are much more energy-intensive than other regions in meeting the comfort of daily use.The application and promotion of passive building energy-saving technologies in severe cold regions has great practical significance and economic and environmental value..This paper will firstly comb the theoretical research and practice of passive ultra-low energy technology in public buildings from the theoretical perspective.Horizontal analysis of a range of technical conditions and key technologies for passive technology in public buildings.The technical route and realistic conditions for public building applicationssuitable for the climatic characteristics of severe cold regions are sorted out.Taking the construction of the Jilin North Expressway service area in the severe cold area as a case project,starting from the actual situation in the severe cold area,aiming at the special conditions of the severe cold area,comprehensively analyze the design conditions of the passive energy-saving technology applied in the public buildings in the severe cold area,and propose the public buildings in the severe cold area.A series of measures for passive technology applications and embodied in case engineering.Finally,the energy-saving check-up and data sorting of the case building is carried out,and the application effect of passive technology in case building is analyzed.According to the research process and results,the feasibility and promotion value of passive ultra-low energy technology in public buildings in severe cold areas are discussed.
