Study On Soft Soil Foundation Treatment And Construction Method Of The Coastal Rapid-construction Highway

The coastal soft foundation is composed of silt and silty clay,characterized by high water content,poor permeability,large pore ratio,high compressibility and low shear strength.During the construction of the coastal highway,there may be a series of serious problems,these including large settlement deformation,excessive static pore pressure,and poor roadbed stability,and thus the safety of the construction and operation of the coastal highway is severely restricted.In contrast,the c soft foundation may generate larger settlement deformation and greater static pore pressure during the rapid construction process,which seriously endangers the safety of the construction of the coastal highway.To solve these problems,extensive investigation on the failure forms of coastal soft soil was conducted;based on Jiaozhou industrial district projecthe,the key problems for coastal soft soil foundation treatment was analyzed;the key technologies to treat these problems were put forward and the treatment results were simulated by the calculation analysis.The useful conclusions are as follows:(1)The failure form of highway in soft soil foundation included the instability and settlement of the subgrade;for the rapid construction of the coastal subgrade,large excess pore pressure will be accumulated in a short time;so the key to the coastal soft soil foundation treatment is to increase the permeability of soil,and to accelerate the dissipation of the excess pore pressure,as a result speeding up the consolidation of soft soil foundation,improving the subgrade stability,and reducing the settlement deformation of the soft foundation.(2)The gravel cushion and reinforcement method can improve the stability of the subgrade.The plastic drainage plate and gravel pile can accelerate the drainage consolidation speed and improve the overall stability of the roadbed,which can be used as the preferred treatment method for the rapid construction soft foundation treatment of the coastal highwayThe results of this paper are of great significance to improve the treatment system of coastal soft foundation and to guide the construction of similar projects.
