As an important transmission form gear is not only historical but also widely used in mechanical field.But it is an urgent requirement for gear development towards high effectively and environmental protection considering the influence of terrible energy shortage and heavy pollution.Gear system design not only agrees with sustainable development of the world economy but also determines survival from fierce competition.Therefore,the following discussions were proposed in terms of problem resolved urgently on current gear system:Firstly,this section proposed the formula of efficiency and volume on single-stage gear considering the working condition of geometric parameters,load,rotating speed,lubricating and manufacturing accuracy.Then the calculation program was compiled to obtained parameters rule effected on the efficiency and volume based on the idea of parametric design,which not only determined reasonable range of parameters but laid the foundation for drive system optimization in the next chapter.Secondly,this section proposed general formulas about multi-objective dynamic optimization design on multi-stage gear considering the idea of high efficiency and less mass,which was converted NSGAII program into computer in the environment of C++ to obtain variety options achieving high efficiency and small size target.The optimization results were not in accordance with engineering requirements because of optimization parameter is a continuous variable,so Feasibility program compiled arranged optimization results to fit into engineering,and the goal of results visualization is achieved through graphic model at last.Next section analyzed dynamic problems on gear system after foregoing study.Vibration model was established to calculate stiffness and amplitude in different meshing positions considering the influence of meshing characteristics;at the same time,the study of factors effected on system vibration can provides a reference for the detection of vibration,noise and safety.The final section mainly established automation analysis system consisted of above contents using Matlab.Controls of interfaces and typical statement were respectively described to determine the range of design parameter,meshing stiffness calculation and amplitude study on gear drive.The results indicated that this system is feasible and practical,and it was considered that the interface is not only friendly,easy to operate and effectively design but also many kinds of schemes can broaden the designer's vision and help to improve product performance.
