As one type of exclusive right-of-way,bus lane is a main measure to implement the policy of bus priority,its setting can affect the traffic organization and change the traffic rules in intersections,which may cause varies on traffic capacity in signalized intersections.With the rapid advancement of China's economy and continuous promotion of urbanization,as well as the policy of bus priority has been implemented and fast development,the number of bus lane is increasing.Therefore,it is necessary to study and analyze the traffic capacity of the urban intersection based on the characteristics of traffic flow.In this paper,it takes the signal intersection of setting bus lanes as the research object,it establishes capacity model of the right-turn lane under the influence of bus lanes,and analyses different types of bus lanes at intersections.The main contents are as follows:First of all,this paper introduces the setting methods of the bus lane,and determines the signalized intersection of setting the roadside bus lanes as the research object;then it introduces the methods of data investigation,then the methods of data investigation are introduced,and the distribution regularity of headway together with the characteristics of the blocked turn-right vehicles are illustrated through the data analysis.Secondly,considering the effect of feeder routes to intersection turn right capacity,the situation that the right turn vehicles may suffer in at the intersection can be divided into blocked and unblocked,furthermore,the occurrence probability and capacity of the intersection under these two situations are analyzed,based on these,this article constructs a capacity model of right-turn lane which is influenced by feeder routes.Through the realistic data collected in the signalized intersection in Fuzhou,at last,the parameters in the model is calibrated,in addition to the model is validated.Moreover,considering the effect of bus-only approach to turn right capacity of intersection,the situation that the right turn vehicles may suffer in the intersection can be segmented into "bus-blocked","social-vehicle-blocked" and unblocked,then occurrence probability and capacity under these two situations are analyzed based on these,this article constructs a capacity model of right-turn lane which is influenced by bus-only approach.Compared simulation results of the VISSIM with the calculation results of the model,the validity of the model has been validated.Finally,based on the intersections of Fuzhou City,this paper adopts VISSIM for simulation modeling,capacity and delay are chosen as the evaluation index.This paper introduces two situations:the road have no bus lane and the road set HOV shared bus lane,then these two situations are compared with the situations feeder routes bus lane and bus-only approach.At the same time,by studying the relationship among the proportion of bus,the carpool proportion of HOV and the average delay per person,the optimal flow ratio and the threshold of the carpool proportion of HOV are determined when setting HOV shared lanes.
