With the popularity of the smart grid and the continuous updating of the power technology,all kinds of power equipment are applied to various fields.Due to the normal operation of power electronic equipment,a large number of harmonic and reactive power will be injected into the power grid,which greatly affects the power quality of the power grid and causes the problem of power quality to be concerned.Therefore,the reactive power compensation device of the latest-static synchronous compensator came into being,can compensate reactive power in the grid fast and efficient,to provide effective protection for power grid and electrical equipment safe and reliable operation.Aiming at the problem of how to improve the dynamic response speed and steady-state accuracy of STATCOM device to compensate reactive power,a modified deadbeat control strategy is proposed by analyzing and studying the existing control strategies both at home and abroad.The traditional three-phase and two-level voltage type topology is used as the main circuit,and the mathematical model of no beat control is derived by using the coordinate transformation method.On this basis,the current inner loop with no beat control and the external voltage loop controlled by PI are designed.Dead beat control is the prediction of command current,the method of detecting reactive current detection of the reactive current based on instantaneous reactive power theory of ip-iq,the reactive command current were calculated using the Lagrange interpolation method,combined with the PWM control method of voltage space vector control(SVPWM).On the basis of theoretical analysis,the Matlab/Simulink software is used to compare the proposed control strategy with the traditional PI control strategy.It is concluded that the dynamic response speed is fast and the steady state precision is high when the reactive power is compensated.At the same time,using the laboratory resources,a physical platform with TMS320F2812 DSP as the core controller is built.The experimental results show that the improved control system proposed in this paper can effectively compensate reactive power,and the dynamic response speed is fast and the steady state precision is high.Key technology based on STATCOM,STATCOM on reactive power detection algorithm and control strategy are analyzed deeply and the corresponding experimental verification.The simulation and experimental results show that the proposed scheme is effective,play a crucial role for improving the performance of STATCOM.
