Adaptive Transformation Of Urban Parks In Hilly Areas Of South China

As the city’s "green lung",the urban park is an important part of the urban green space system.As the city’s "living space",it is an important carrier of urban spiritual civilization.A good park landscape environment can increase the charm and cohesiveness of the city and help strengthen the city’s sense of belonging and happiness to residents.Most of the urban parks in China were built in the 1950 s and 1960 s.The long-standing storms,outdated facilities,and chaotic layouts have increasingly aggravated the problem.The park has experienced a "comprehensive aging" phenomenon.At present,the rapid development of society has brought about multiple forms of residents’ activities and the diversified needs.Residents’ requests for parks have changed from "static viewing" to "dynamic participation";this has led to conflicts between the renewal of parks and the rapid evolution of aesthetics.In the context of “orderly implementation of urban repairs and organic renewal,” urban old parks have entered the stage of rapid quality improvement in recent years.The entry point of the author’s paper.A review of the transformation of the park was reviewed.After reading a large number of documents,it was found that: First,at this stage,the transformation of urban parks is biased toward the exploration of design strategies and concrete practices;second,the lack of research and emphasis on the premission research stage.In reading the book “The Old City of Beijing and Juer Hutong” written by Mr.Wu Liangchun,the author’s first revelation in summing up the reform of Juer Hutong pointed out that the “task study” is the most critical and the most difficult.The author is based on this "revelation" and takes it as a starting point to explore methods suitable for the task research in the earlier period.Combining with the existing "organic rejuvenation" practice theory,which is the "composite theory" of this article,we will discuss the guidance methods of the park remodeling system.The Method of "Composite Theory" and Its Framework of Assumption.The author divides the whole process of urban parks into "task study stage" and "strategic research stage".In the face of a subject with complex requirements,a systematic approach to analysis will provide new insights,based on the initiative and adaptability of participants.The author chooses the complex adaptation system(CAS)theory as the analytical theory and guidance theory for the task research phase,analyzes the main requirements and development trends,co-ordinates the overall situation,determines the design goals,defines the design content,and formulates a dynamic research framework.Organic renewal serves as a "strategic research phase" design theory and guides specific practices.Combining the two to form a "composite theory",the "CAS" theory is like a brain,and the "organic renewal" theory is like grasping hands,and they cooperate to form a systematic research method.The object of this paper is the South Hill City Park.The author uses the "composite theory" organization method to carry out systematic adaptive transformation strategy research.The content of the paper is organized as follows:The first chapter "Introduction" belongs to the "Proposed Questions" section.This paper introduces the background,research object,research purpose and significance of the transformation of urban parks,general situation of transformation and development at home and abroad,reform ideas and framework.Chapters 2 and 3 belong to the "basic research" section.In the second chapter,we first introduce the concept of complex adaptive system(CAS)theory and organic update theory and related scholars,and then introduce the "composite theory" organization method.The third chapter systematically summarizes the difficulties faced by the development of hill city parks,discusses the inevitability of its transformation and the misunderstandings of actual reconstruction work,and proves that there is no scientific and systematic method guidance for the transformation of urban parks.Through basic research,it is illustrated that the "composite theory" organization method has its vitality in the transformation of urban parks.The fourth chapter belongs to the section "Analysis Problems".The whole process of reforming hill city parks is divided into "task research stage" and "strategic research stage".Under the compound theory organization method,the complex adaptation system(CAS)theory and organic theory are respectively used for guidance.The CAS theory guides the identification of transformation objectives,clarifies the transformation tasks,and provides “high-level planning” for specific designs.The organic theory conducts practical simulations of “superior planning”,carries out space implementation,and responds according to actual conditions,organically cooperates,and promotes The park carries out dynamic and flexible transformation planning.The fifth chapter belongs to the "problem solving" section.The typical Hill City Park-Hunan Martyrs Park was selected to conduct practical research on composite theory to prove the operability and effectiveness of its organizational methods.Finally,the research results and innovation points are summarized,and the development of urban park renovation is forecasted.
