It is well known that airplanes are greatly constrained by factors such as weather, and it is not uncommon for flights to be stranded. This can lead to a series of problems such as passenger complaints and airline economic losses. The rapid development of China's aviation industry has led to a gradual increase in the number of flights caused by special reasons. However, there has been no substantial progress in the study of recovery programs for abnormal flights..There are two main difficulties in the recovery of abnormal flights:one is to establish a suitable mathematical model;the other is to design a suitable algorithm for solving the model. There are many factors that need to be considered in the recovery of a flight. Therefore, there are many choices for the solution. When there are many constraints and there are many decision variables, the difficulty of solving the model will increase.Research on solving algorithms also has profound implications for solving similar mathematical models. This paper focuses on the problems in the current domestic detention flights, selecting a single aircraft type, multiple aircrafts, multiple aircrafts taking passengers into account, and taking into account the multi-model four-stay retention and recovery problems of passenger journeys to perform mathematical modeling.A mathematical model between the total delay time of passengers and the decision variables of different flight assignments can effectively mark the airline's loss situation under different decision-making situations. The paper gives mathematical models and scheduling solutions given by the calculation results for all four problems. The specific findings are as follows:For the problem of single aircraft flight retention and recovery,as far as possible to ensure that the stranded aircraft can fly in accordance with the original plan,a mathematical model is established by traversing the time axis and prioritizing aircrafts that can check in as soon as possible to take on flight tasks, and according to the model. The result of the calculation gives the new flight schedule. For the problem of multi-model flight retention and recovery, the replacement cost of different types of aircraft is considered on the basis of the single model, and a mathematical model is established according to the delay cost of the aircraft, and a new flight arrangement is given based on the model calculation results. For the multi-model flight recovery considering the passenger loading capacity, the passenger's overall delay time is used as the objective function, and the mathematical model is established by adding the influence of the passenger capacity, and a new flight arrangement is given based on the model calculation results. Finally,on the issue of multi-aircraft flight recovery considering passenger travel,a mathematical model was established based on multi-model considerations of passengers' travel arrangements, connecting flights, number of traveling passengers, and transfer time, and given based on model calculation results.New flight arrangements. This article always considers and formulates the flight recovery plan from the airline's point of view. The calculation of the paper model adopts the data of the actual flight. In four cases,a satisfactory solution has been obtained, and the recovery plan punctuality rate is above the international average level. The delay costs incurred are also the smallest, indicating that the research in this paper is scientific and feasible and solves the problem of flight retention and recovery.
