Cable-stayed bridges have been applied in the construction of bridges more and more with the advantages such as reasonable structure,strong ability of spanning,attractive appearance,etc,although its short appearance.The construction of cable-stayed bridges is a complicated systems engineering,so it is a tough difficulty for constructers to keep the cable-stayed bridges safe and reasonable during the construction and meet the needs of design and relevant regulations when the construction is completed.Therefore,it is necessary to study on the construction monitoring of cable-stayed bridges.Meanwhile,various kinds of risks are existed during the construction of cable-stayed bridges,it is worthwhile for us to assess the risks validly and effectively to provide theoretical basis for the measurements that we may take.Initially this paper introduces the purpose and significance of construction monitoring and risk assessment during the construction and makes a summary of construction monitoring and risk assessment at home and abroad.A description of the engineering situation of the engineering background-certain single tower prestressed concrete cable-stay bridge is made.Then the finite element theory of structure simulation analysis is introduced.By taking advantages of the finite element software Midas/Civil according to the drawings and the actual construction situation,a structure simulation analysis is made to make research on the alignment and stress during the construction.Also,the cable-force is calculated to provide the data support for construction monitoring.The main work is introduced from the aspect of alignment,stress and stayed cables.Detailed monitoring contents are recommended including measuring points,frequency,instrument and so on during the construction monitoring.An analysis about the construction monitoring results is made which show that the cable-stayed bridge is in a safe and reasonable state during the construction and the design and regulation requirements about alignment,stress and cable force are met when the cable-stayed bridge is completed.Relevant laws are summarized to instruct similar construction monitoring.The scheme of the construction monitoring is feasible and the task of the cable-stayed bridge construction monitoring is successful.In the end,some improvements are put forward in this paper to improve the defects of the fuzzy hierarchy comprehensive assessment method.The improved method is applied in the construction of the tower and the risk assessment results show that the risk grade of the construction of the tower is high(III).The improved method gets over the shortcomings of the original one to some extent and good effects are achieved.
