Research On China’s Investment In Laos Mechanicaland Electrical Industry Under The Background Of The Belt And Road Initiative

Laos and China have maintained good-neighborly and friendly international relations since ancient times.With diplomatic ties in 1961,and 1986 Laos began to the road of innovation and opening,the economic and industrial cooperation between the two countries is increasingly close,for Chinese investors to invest in Laos,the Lao government always keep friendly and tolerant attitude.In 2015,China became Laos’ s largest investor.In September 2013,China put forward the "One Belt And One Road" economic belt cooperation initiative,and at the end of the same year,it officially rose to China’s foreign development strategy in the new period.China’s economic and political cooperation with neighboring countries will enter a new period,China and the cooperation of countries along the opportunity especially along with the funds of southeast Asian nations continue to deepen,on the basis of the "area" all the way to establish the regional economic cooperation platform for China and the participating countries to carry out investment cooperation opens a new era.As China’s southern neighbor,the new geopolitical environment under the "One Belt And One Road" initiative has brought new development opportunities to Laos.In this paper,through literature method and comparative analysis,qualitative research methods,such as China in the field of mechanical and electrical industry investment structure,the way of Laos and its done in-depth research,many aspects,such as to affect the outcome and along the way of thinking.Firstly,through theoretical analysis,the influence of foreign direct investment on industrialization is studied.Secondly,the paperanalyzes the current investment status of China’s electromechanical industry in Laos,and points out the shortcomings of China’s investment in this field.Finally,according to the problems of China’s investment in electromechanical industry in Laos and the development trend of Laos,the corresponding countermeasures are put forward,for example,Laos should optimize the mechanical and electrical investment structure,slow down the state of investment imbalance,strengthen the cooperation of the basic industry,promote the development of all industries,support the national Electromechanical industry,protect the local enterprises,improve the management of mechanical and electrical investment,and reduce the negative impact..
