Marine architecture is different from land building.Land building has formed a complete set of design processes and methods.However,architectural design is rarely involved in the field of marine architecture,and theoretical knowledge,design experience and laws and regulations are not perfect.With the changes of the times,under the guidance of the strategy of marine power,new challenges to architects are put forward.Architecture extends to the sea,and the knowledge of architectural designers should extend to the ocean.With the rapid development of economy and the accelerated development of urbanization,the pace of life has become faster,the people's demand is increasingly diversified,and the values and ideology of the residents have changed.At the same time of urban metabolism,the topic of urban development and renewal is placed before us.For the coastal cities,the coastal city space is particularly valuable to occupy the unique resources such as the ocean.The development and renewal of the coastal city space affects the lifeline of the development of the whole coastal city.Therefore,when we talk about the design of marine architecture,we cannot abandon the premise of the renewal and development of coastal cities.This paper will focus on the impact of urban renewal theory,marine natural environment and social environment on marine architecture.In order to find the key elements of marine architecture design.Taking fisherman's wharf as an example,this paper explores the characteristics and relationships between marine architecture design and urban development under the marine environment.The fisherman wharf,because of its representativeness and comprehensive function,can fully explain the planning and design of Binhai urban renewal and marine architecture.The decline of fishery led to the decline of fishermen's living standard and the decline of the old ports.How to activate the coastal quality resources,improve the life of the fishermen and provide leisure and entertainment for the urban residents,and even drive the whole regional industrial structure change and promote the development of the regional economy,we should understand and analyze deeply.This paper tries to find out the main points and methods of the design of the marine architecture,and uses the theory of collation to analyze the scheme design of the Qingdao West Coast new area,and then puts forward some suggestions and evaluation.
