Study On The Relationship Between The City And The Sea In The Qingdao Typical Coastal Space From The Perspective Of Urban Design

As a typical representative of China's coastal cities,Qingdao is famous for its shipping conditions and the beautiful coastline.Among them,the ocean plays a pivotal role in the urban development of Qingdao.From the location of the city to the development of Qingdao's modern urbanization,the importance of the ocean runs through the entire urban development process,so the urban structure and urban space of Qingdao are inevitably affected by the ocean.And because of the “urban edge” attribute of the coastal area,the planning and design methods are quite different from those of inland cities.However now,most of the urban planning and design in Qingdao only from the perspective of coastal location,static and lack of perspective on the construction of coastal cities,while ignoring the fact that the ocean not only acts on the shallow line of the coastal,but will affect the while city.The sequence of urban spaces goes deep into the hinterland of the city.Due to the neglect and improper use of the relationship between the city and the sea,there have been some problems in the development of Qingdao's cities: such as the lack of coastal city public space;the massive construction of high-rise buildings and large-scale buildings;coastal expressway cause the separation of the coastal areas and urban space,splitting of space,etc.So,how does the existence of the ocean play a role in urban development,and what role it plays,and how to adapt and utilize the city-sea relationship to create a better coastal city space is the main purpose of this paper.This paper summarizes the characteristics of Qingdao's city-sea relationship through a time-dimensional and dynamic perspective,and proposes relevant strategies.Through field research,literature research and comparative analysis,this paper analyzes the city-sea relationship and ocean-to-city from three dimensions,including coastal zone structure,single bay section and spatial sequence in coastal zone.This paper is divided into seven chapters:The first chapter introduces the research preparation,including the research background,object,purpose,meaning and related theoretical basis.The second chapter lays the foundation for the next chapter's research by combing the development history of Qingdao relying on the ocean.The third chapter analyzes the influence of ocean on Qingdao's functional structure,spatial structure,traffic structure and landscape structure at the structural level of the coastal zone.The fourth chapter are analyzes the coastal coast under the influence of the ocean on the shore zone of the single bay,the urban landscape,coastal architecture and coastal coastal roadnetwork system.The fifth chapter analyzes the specific spatial sequence in each bay area and the manifestation of ocean impact.The sixth chapter is based on the existing relationship between the city and the sea to propose some design strategies for the problem;The seventh chapter is a summary of the above-mentioned levels of city-sea relationship and recommendations and prospects for future research.Based on the analysis of the multi-level level of typical coastal space in Qingdao,this paper analyzes the law of coastal space development in the southern part of Qingdao and the role of oceans in urban space from the innovative perspective of city-sea relationship,and summarizes the various levels of Qingdao under the influence of city-sea relationship.The spatial characteristics and the law of ocean influence diffusion are as follows: the urban structure is concentrated to the coastal area,the bay area space is radiated by the coastal coast,and the sea features are hierarchically attenuated in the spatial sequence;the introduction of“toward the sea” in the field of architecture and urban and rural planning,and finally shows that the coastal city of Qingdao has the characteristics of “toward the sea”.This paper proposes relevant design strategies based on the status,and hopes to provide certain guidance and reference significance for the relevant urban design of the urban coastal zone.
