The Research On Application Of Le Corbusier's Modulor System And Its Contemporary Influence

The Modulor theory is a dimensional system which was proposed by Le Corbusier and was applied in his design practice.This is an article talking about method,it is aimed at exploring the interaction of this theory and its construction practice,with the help of application analysis of the Modulor system in three cases of different periods after the theory had been proposed,to summarize the development process of application of Modulor theory of Le Corbusier.Combined with the historical literature research,summarized and analyzed by using mathematical method and comparison method,this article excavated the origin of thought of the Modulor developed by Le Corbusier,and discussed the significance of Modulor system to the present world.View on interpretation of Le Corbusier's works would be extended with the help of application analysis of the theory,with the aid of Modulor system as a tool,the mathematical method played a controlling role to relate industrial production to humanities,it is of reference significance to contemporary architecture.
