The electricity retailer plays a key role under the new electric power system reform, which determines whether the new round of reform will achieve the expected goal of lowering electricity prices. In the electricity market, the electricity retailer undertakes the responsibility of purchasing electricity from the generation market and supplying electricity to retailer market. The development of the distributed generation makes these electricity retailers have more choices than before. How to satisfy users'needs and to improve their operating efficiency in the competitive environment is what the electricity retailer need to study. This paper aims to study the operation optimization strategy of the electricity retailer and mainly research on the optimal bidding strategy of a community owned electricity retailer with renewable energy based on electricity scheduling. The optimization framework proposed in this paper aims to maximize electricity retailer's expected earnings in electricity markets being deregulated. This paper also considers how to minimize the electricity retailer's operating costs without influencing residents'comfort degree and other system constraints. In view of the above problems, the main contents of this paper carries on the research are as follows:Firstly, simulation software based on continuous time series used in this paper is introduced. And the main application scope, market module, residential module, advantages and disadvantages are analyzed. Then, the paper focus on market module. The effectiveness of market module and residential buildings with HVAC systems in GridLAB-D is validated by using simulation example.Secondly, this paper analyzes the various uncertain factors in the community owned electricity retailer. The method and feasibility of using Monte Carlo and Latin hypercube sampling techniques to solve the uncertainties are described. The Monte Carlo method is used to simulate the sources of uncertainty in the system. In addition,a brief analysis of the comfort of residential home users is conducted. The feasibility of using the building thermodynamic model and using the thermal inertia of residential buildings to compensate for the intermittent and variability of new energy is analyzed. The model of distribution island operation and grid-connected operation of community owned electricity retailer under consideration of user comfort degree is established and compared. Finally,an optimization model for the operation strategies of community owned electricity retailer is studied. The system model components that need to be built are introduced in detail, including power generation, energy storage and aggregator components,HVAC systems, market model and family residential models based on building thermodynamics. In this paper,GridLAB-D is used to build community owned electricity retailer model. And MTALAB and its optimization toolkit Yalmip are used to optimize the analysis of the resulting data.According to the simulation results and extensive numerical analysis, the advantage of the community owned electricity retailer's operation optimization strategy that considers the user comfort degree proposed in this paper is obtained. At the same time, the ef-fects of temperature deviation, temperature deviation cost, rated power of HVAC system and battery degradation cost on the objective function are analyzed. The work done in this paper can provide a reference for the future operation of community owned electricity retailer.
